WOW Kristina Really enjoyed these blending--some of which I would never have tried. This inspires me to do just what you did...sit down and give it a whirl and see what you get can produce something beautiful!! Thanks much!

If you don't use your pads very often - you could use Distress Refresher to reinvigorate the pad! Love the autumn colors!!

I’m not an autumn colour person although it’s my favourite time of the year. These colour blends are stunning however. Rich depth.

I love to ink blend. Watching you, I believe I need to go back and forth between colors a little more. I LOVE the Wild Honey oxide. But, I ordered the Crackling Campfire in the Distress ink.

Speckled Egg, Chipped Sapphire and Crackling Campfire 🔥 would look amazing if you then ran it through with an intricate background die 🙌🏼⭐️💯 WOW I’m loving it. I think it will be a couple of months before our little shop in town gets Crackling Campfire but I’ll be ready with my sketches. 😂👌🏼

These color combinations are AMAZING. I have a question about the Oxides? Do any of your pad bases feel "wobbly" in the container like they're not completely glued down? I need to figure out a way to fix that......
@kwernerdesign4 жыл бұрын
Hmm... Nope, none are like that. But a bit of super glue should do the trick.
@TheBrookelizabeth214 жыл бұрын
The next time you do one of these, do you think you could make a bunch of ink smooshing backgrounds with your extra ink instead of wiping it away? It could make a fun part two video maybe? 😊😊
@kwernerdesign4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, I don't think it would work too well and would definitely slow things down. But you're welcome to try it out and see if you like it. :)

Are these easier to blend? Or the distress ones?

1. How do you handle the blenders getting cross contaminated with the blended colors? Or is this not an issue? 2. How do you handle cross contamination amongst the ink pads?
@kwernerdesign4 жыл бұрын
I use a dedicated foam pad for each color and swap them out when I change colors.
@michiganderintexas4 жыл бұрын
@@kwernerdesign I will be using dedicated pad per ink also, but was worried about them becoming cross contaminated during the 'blending' process. You answered a question below on this. thank you.

Is that a piece of Post-It Removable Masking Tape (or a similar generic) that you're using to hold the paper with while you're blending? I thought you were just using a strip of paper, but then I looked a little closer...
@kwernerdesign4 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's post-it tape. Easier to use since it sticks to my fingertips. :)

@bunnyleeder17564 жыл бұрын
Are you contaminating the colors by going over them???
@michiganderintexas4 жыл бұрын
I wonder this also. Also, how do the blenders not get cross contaminated????
@kwernerdesign4 жыл бұрын
No, not really. If you're concerns about that you just swipe them on another piece of paper to remove any remaining ink.
