I started with the stepped drive-in swaging tool then went to the two-jaw pliers type when they were widely available. I'm retired now but would have loved to have this when doing HVAC work. Heck, I wouldn't even mind having it for regular plumbing.

I went a bought a bigger tool chest because of your videos lol. A tool I'll probably never use but looks like it works great

8:20 Not being able to charge the extra battery independently is a small bummer. It would be nice to be able to charge the external battery at, say, a relative's house and keep your refrigerator running with the main unit.

Proprietary heads? Can Hilmor heads be used with this tool?🤔

I’ve tried my ITE expander heads and they don’t fit. Most of the swage heads seem to jam inside tube first few uses but I’ve seen this before with my manual and hydraulic expanders.I’d recommend pulling trigger a few times before inserting into tube to help free up. My 5/8 head broke all but 1 finger during first use.I think it tried to rotate whilst jammed. Great tool so far and used daily.

Thats type M copper will this work type L copper

For the most part all copper tubing can be swaged, if in the event you had to use this on a hard type copper like L or K type it will require Annealing prior to swaging.
@Froz7182 ай бұрын
he means heating it before you expand it. idk why they change meanings all the time. swaging, Annealing lol but i wouldn't do that on L pipe it does weaken and thins the copper. so it will crack if it's not high grade copper
