V. True, hope IITians mentalities will rise above politics churned w religion and vice verse. There have been suicides/ragging of students due to caste bias. Also, recently an IIT Prof. made headlines saying “the floods, landslides devastation in HP is because people eat MEAT”! Such is the ‘scientific’ temper of India, post 2014! PM himself shamelessly said at an Int.Med.Conference that India was the pioneer in Transplants (animal heads on human bodies, etc.), referring to mythology!

It is really good to see that lots of indian universities are teaching physics chemistry mathematics biology earth sciences social sciences in the initial level, and it it compulsory for all students...
