Yo thanks for posting. I was looking for an option to follow up with after the second 5K on this setup and hadn't found a good one yet. Oh also you can do this setup after air hit 214K as well if you want to.

yeah! I do this setup after throw, corner 214s and 214k. it doesn't seem to work after a 2d knockdown though i usually value keeping the corner vs breaking the wall, so if I get like a c.s starter I'll cut the combo short instead of doing 214k loops and do this setup after the first 214k.

Is there an option select that works against characters with fast backdashes like May or Bridget? My thought is that since they only have fast reversals, you can stop blocking earlier and it’ll work, but May’s backdash is 4 frames shorter than Sol’s and her reversal startup is only 3 frames faster than H viper. Without meter for reversals though I believe you can just always do c.S after 5K, as it’ll combo on hit and catch backdash.

ooo that's probably smart and helps time the throw. personally I just learned the timing between dash cancel and throw. in theory if I do 5k dash cancel then either do this OS or throw; it should be a true 50/50 and I don't want to give them additional time to react by seeing a whiff 5p. though there is merit to having an autotimed thing so you can't mess it up. ty for the tip!
