1 पतिं विश्र्वस्य आत्मा ईश्वरम् शाश्र्वतं शिवमुच्यतम् नारायणं महाज्ञेयं विश्र्वात्मानम् परायणम् || वह श्री नारायण सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि के ( रक्षक या पालनकर्ता ), सभी जीवों के परमात्मा, शाश्वत ( चिरस्थायी ), परम पवित्र, अविनाशी, जानने योग्य परम ज्ञान एवं सभी जीवों ( आत्माओं ) के परम लक्ष्य हैं । 2यच्च किञ्चित् जगत् सर्वं दृश्यते श्रूयतेऽपि वा अन्तर्बहिश्र्च तत्सर्वं व्याप्य नारायण: स्थित:|| इस जगत में जो कुछ भी देखा जाता है,सुना जाता है, जो कुछ भी ( शरीर के ) अंदर और ( शरीर के बाहर ) बाहर व्याप्त ( स्थित ) है, वह सब स्वयं नारायण में ही स्थित हैं। 3 तस्या: शिखाया मध्ये परमात्मा व्यवस्थितः स ब्रह्म स शिव: स हरि: स इन्द्र: सोऽक्षरः परमः स्वराट्|| उस ज्योति के मध्य में, वह परमात्मा निवास करता है| वह ही ब्रह्मा , शिव, पालनकर्ता ( हरि ), और इन्द्र हैं। वह अविनाशी , स्वयम्भू ( स्वयं से स्थित होने वाले ) एवं परमात्मा हैं 4:-एको नारायण आसीन्न ब्रह्मा नेशान:-सृष्टि के प्रारम्भ में केवल नारायण थे। 5:- नाहं कालस्य, अहमेव कालम➥ “मैं समय में नहीं हूँ, समय मुझमें है” (महानारायण उपनिषद, अध्याय २२ , श्लोक २७) 6:-वेदो में ईश्वर को ओमकार (ॐ )कहा गया है :- ओमिति ब्रह्म ! ओमितीद् सर्वम् (तैत्तिरीयोपनिषद् ) ओम हि परब्रह्म है !ओम हि सब कुछ है ! हरि:ॐ नमः शिवाय मै वेदो में सामवेद हू और अक्षरो में ओमकार हुन(ये बात गीता में भगवान श्री कृष्ण स्वयं कहा है ) एको ब्रह्म द्वितियो नास्ति किञ्चित्( ब्रह्म एक है दुसरा नही ) सत्यम् ज्ञानअनन्तम् ब्रह्म ब्रह्म सत्य ज्ञान स्वरुप और अनन्त है! नारायण परं ब्रह्म तत्त्वं नारायण: पर :(यजुर्वेद ) भगवान नारायण ही सबसे परे परम् ब्रह्म तत्त्व् है
