I bought a set made in Thailand for a hilux rwd done 1000kilometres took off through in the garbage installed my old shocks no customer service never again.

Horrible, on my 2007 Suburban these brand new kyb excel g shocks perform worse than factory shocks

Ken Medina thanks for the info. I'm looking for shocks for my 00 escalade.. so same shocks as you. what did you swap em out with?

Jesaiah Hansen went with the KYB Monomax and these were just perfect. Firm and controlled but not harsh. Combined with the Eibach Pro Kit 2"/3" drop springs I had installed they're a perfect match in my opinion. Shop indicated that for sedans and smaller cars the Excel Gs are a good match, and apologized indicating they should have recommended the upgraded Gas A Just first or the max performance Monomax from the start for a Suburban. They swapped them out no labor if I just paid the slight difference.

L. Dega on my 03 G35 coupe that is lowered the Excel Gs work well, but for my Suburban absolutely not.

L. Dega i already explained on a Suburban that weighs 6K lbs vs a civic that weighs 2800 lbs these are horrible. The SUV was bouncing causing an unsafe condition.

L. Dega well the fact is they do, if you go search KYB excel g, they market for cars, minivans, SUVs, full size vans, and light trucks. If you simply accept the fact I had purchased them and had them installed, experienced their poor and dangerous performance and had them replaced. An easy and quick google search for a 2007 suburban 1500 will result in both individual part numbers and front and back part number kits.

absolute garbage shocks . so soft my car handled like a boat.. not even good as standard replacement shock

On what vehicle u have? I have some Scion and Toyota guys have KYB - excel G suspension and they loved how it handles and it’s a bit firmer than oem they said.

kyb excel G on probe gt 1994.... I do Not recommend these at all... terrible ,weak damping, far less body control than the original strut that had 200,000mi on it... my car rides like its bobbing around,even just pushing down on the corners of car, it rebounds alot... pretty aweful stuff that Id never use again..only that they are on the car and car is aligned, I'd of returned them. ruined my nice crisp handling

Definitely a recommended product. Urs is probably a bit different that did not fit ur application for handling
