So the family took our very first rv trip and I’m so glad I watched your videos in preparation!!! I measured the height of the camper... right at 10’6. Came up to a low clearance covered bridge. Sign said 10’6 turned that thing right around in a Amish driveway! Then our hot water heater wouldn’t light! Mind the dip pops in my head. Figured it out, the reset was a design flaw. Had a great first trip. Thanks for all you guys do!

You can always let some air out of the tires if you have a compressor onboard to "air them back up!" That will buy you some clearance -- but with dualies it would be more trouble than it's worth if there's a viable alternative. We got out of a parking garage nightmare that way.

Great place to rent a 4 wheel drive and see great passes, Imogene, Engineer and Yankee boy Basin! We delayed our KOA Ouray reservations until 8June, however, when I called to ensure the reservations had been delayed, that they had celebrities at their park, they were really surprised! Perhaps they found you guys and asked for autographs? One from Trish for a lady willing to pass a vehicle on a two lane road, towing a long Airstream? One from Mark, who is a shoe-in for a CAT weight scale attendant?

Colorado is Beautiful the drive from Colorado Springs to Ouray was spectacular . We stopped on the side of the road to take some pictures . Another family stopped as well to look at the view . They lady and I were taking photos . She had tears in her eyes she getting emotional at how Beautiful it was there. She was embarrassed that she was crying . It was my favorite part of the trip because it was just some Country roads in the middle of know where . Then stopping in ouray renting a Jeep for a day and exploring the mountains. Everyone thought it was the highlight of our trip . Your right Ouray is cute town . I Hope you enjoy it there as much as we did . It’s a memory I will take with me for life .

Went out last weekend with the family, you are right let's not focus on the negative but the positive. My son and I had a blast out on Pymatuning lake limiting on walleye, perch, pike, and crappie. The best part was the memories that were making. We devote so much of ourselves to everything else that we forget to enjoy the moment and remember to focus on the things that matter most. Ever since my wife and I started following y'all we have been doing as much as we can to get out and make those memories.

I’ve been enjoying your channel for over a year. Even though I don’t RV I’m interested for the same reasons I like golf and boating. There’s a lot to learn, it’s not easy, the history is interesting and you go new places and enjoy learning about them. You are all (including the kids) very well spoken. You seem to understand that you set an example about language that I wish so many others would follow. Your explanations are clear and give one confidence to try. You all have great skill in getting along with each other, though hubby talks over wifey more than he should and you both sometimes let your enthusiasm speed up your speech so it’s hard to understand a phrase or two. I speak over my wife, too, but I’m getting better. She deserves it. Please keep up the great work. Yours is the most professionally produced channel with the highest ratio of useful content/minute that I watch.

Welcome to Colorado, my home. I currently live in Grand Junction, but love visiting Ouray any time I can. It's been a while because of new complications due to health issues. But, seeing your drive up that way, has motivated me to take my wife up there again, as soon as we can. I am sorry to hear that you weren't able to enjoy the hotsprings pool, because that really is one of the 'highlights' of Ouray. I hope you'll have a chance to return sometime and try it. The secret is to soak in the 'hot' section for 10 to 20 minutes, then move over to the regular pool section to cool off. If you don't, it is possible to get over heated. Looking forward to following you on your journey this year.

Hi, glad to see you back on the road. Honestly we stopped watching for a bit. You grew out of us. To big, too fancy. We just couldn’t relate. We started watching from your first day. Flat tires and clueless! Just like us! We were so inspired we sold everything, bought a RV and started the dream! It was hard the first month. We had troubles here n there but could always rely on you. After some point we felt we lost touch with the growth, new rigs, new trucks and upgrades. We ended up back in Canada due to injury and stuck here because of Covid. We saw you again, struggle with the “glamping in the teardrop’ We loved it!! Then the Airstream! Your back, just like the average Joe. We love it. Not saying growth is bad, you did nothing wrong. We just enjoy this KYD! So see you next Sunday! Hope you make is to NS, hope the border opens! Canada is the perfect place to just enjoy the dream The KYD dream! Regards, Red White & Maple

I've traveled all over the country and Canada camping .... in a tent and sleeping on the ground. One observation that I always made on my trips was how many places I absolutely fell totally in love with and would have loved to have lived in those spots. Surprisingly, none of them involved living in the big cities I came across. One of those places that I fell in love with was the Jackson Hole area of Wyoming. I loved the place so much that I routed my trips west through there every chance I got and always built in some "vacation" days so I could move in and enjoy the surroundings. Another spot that I loved and thought "I could live here" is where you are headed to this summer - Nova Scotia (and New Foundland). The summer I made that trip, I spent 48 days camping out in that part of the world and most of it was in NS and NF. Someday I would love to get back out there, but in the mean time I am going to sit back and let you do the driving and I'll come along and sit in the back of your truck as a quiet observer. Thanks for taking us all on this journey again with you this summer. I know I very much appreciate it.
