I don't get why people immediately assume that Disney just makes movies that are lighthearted. Disney has many subsidiaries that make films, many of those whom you have watched such as Marvel. The president of Marvel just saw a formula that worked and kept using it during the origins of Marvel films. You have also the issue of Sony actually almost destroying Spiderman with The Amazing Spiderman and the firing of Andrew Garfield... The MCU saved Spiderman films and brought him back again to the big screen.

This is exactly why I dislike the MCU Spider-Man, you put it perfectly. He has no struggles, no problems to overcome. Which is integral to Spidey as a character. I think the whole point of this trilogy was more his growth into Spider-Man. People are viewing it from the lens of an already completed development, and when you do that then you can't really appreciate them. However, they're meant to show him going away from completely relying on stark suits and becoming his own man, his own spiderman. And with the ending of No Way Home, we see him finally reaching the climax of his story arc. He's spiderman now, he's going to be more responsible with his identity, he's going to be more responsible with those he chooses to be with later, and he's going to finally understand what it means to be THE Spider-Man. I get it, people don't like the movies, but in all honesty, after No Way Home I think that this is the best trilogy we've gotten yet for any superhero. However, they still aren't my favourite.

Couldn’t disagree with “cries when no one is around to help him” more. That’s the best moment of Holland’s run. Up until that point he’s been taking on petty criminals, which with his powers is easy. Everything is easier with his powers. He, a child, wants to be a superhero and deal with big bads, but he never actually has. He has the belief, up to that point, that he’s immortal. That he’ll always be fine. That’s the first time that he realises the actual peril of his chosen profession. The first time he contemplates his mortality properly. Because he’s a child. And he cries out for help like one. Then he stops. And for me, in that moment, he becomes Spider-Man. He summons the strength and courage to save himself, and that’s why he can attach himself to a space ship, or swing into whatever danger he will for however long he’s played by Holland. That was an incredible Spider-Man moment and up there with the best from Tobey and Andrew’s runs.

I watched Far From Home, it was cool, but I tried to like it as much as all my friends said, but I just couldn’t. It felt super fast paced, no backstory to the villains, Mysterio was the only one with somewhat of a story, but it felt kind of bland and all over the place. He didn’t seem like much of a threat either. I hope No Way Home makes Tom Holland’s Spider Man swing by himself and finally handle his consequences himself.

Mate you don’t need to pick up a comic to know how Spider-Man is I am a Tom Holland fan yes I grew up with tobey maguire as my favourite Spider-Man I’ve watched every conceivable Spider-Man show and I know how Spider-Man acts also recently watched every Spider-Man film for no way home including the ones not in the mcu and we’re not dumb stop using comics as a reason when it doesnt take hours maybe weeks of reading to understand Spider-Man

How interesting would it have been if Liz didn't disappear after Homecoming. Imagine that she survives the snap, and her life moves on, and Peter's highschool crush has now moved on, maybe even gotten married, and had a kid. That would be crushing for him, and it would be a decent catalyst for the next romance for him.

I think my biggest problem is that it's *another* origin story. For fucks sake how many times has this character been retconned? I'm gonna be an old man and they're *still* gonna be redoing it over and over again. This is why Insomniac's Spider-Man is my personal favorite. Because he's been SM for 8ish years and he's already learned all the lessons that are crucial to the Spiderperson identity, such as responsibility and not being able to save everyone.

after seeing no way home, i feel all these videos should kinda take back what they say as its meant to be like that, like peter gets told what to do and given everything, but now after meeting the other spider men he realises he cant depend on anyone else and he has to figure it all out by himself. its how they wanted to end the first trilogy
@MrKongpvu2 жыл бұрын
Have not seen it. With your explanation i am sure i don't want to see it now. He has to be told again how Spiderman is supposed to be, think for himself, and do things by himself? Why would he now listen? Glad you liked the NWH film but i have already given up on this version of Spiderman.

No Way Home being Tom's true origin story changed a lot of how i see him as Spider man. i didnt like his origin from being scouted to be part of the avengers and him wanting to be like iron man, then losing his mentor (w/c i thought was equivalent to losing uncle ben) and yet his Spidey in FFH is far from the spidey we know.. sooo self-centered and irresponsible. the fact we're just starting and w/ how no way home went, im seeing a new light with Tom's character.
@JyanDagdagan2 жыл бұрын
@@MrKongpvu you could say that No Way Home is his Origin story into becoming Spider Man. the rest of his films was just a warm up or smtng getting to know himself. he wasnt spiderman in these films, he is just starting imo.

What i hate about Tom Holland's Spider-Man is that he always takes off his mask like what's the point of having a Secret identity to protect the one's you love, if your just gonna show your whole face and tell your real full name to the enemy im talking about Homecoming and Far from Home. Enemy's that know Spider-Man's Secret Identity in the MCU: •Vulture •Scorpion •Mysterio •John Jonah Jameson Jr.

Some MCU higher ups need to get their eyes on this video! He’s missing the human element!!! Rami captured the fact that to be Spider-Man is like a juggling act that sometimes, doesn’t always go your way but “with great power comes great responsibility” and being a hero means you can’t give up, you gotta find a way and that’s just what he did!

Personally, Tom Holland isn't my least favourite, that's Tobey (I have a bunch of issues with his version lol), but Andrew is my favourite (like you), which sadly makes Tom the awkward middle child of the three in terms of my preference. My main issue with Toms' Spidey is how they glossed over Aunt May discovering his identity, which should have added some serious drama into these movies. That's what I think is missing with these movies; the dark, dramatic moments and tragic consequences of Peters' life that are barely in these two films, unlike the last two takes on the character.

You all want a 16-17 year old to suffer and lose everything for what exactly? 616 universe Peter didn’t start loosing things until he was an adult. At the time of his adolescence he only had Ben gone. And as for the hand me downs and gifts? You guys serious? F4, X-men, and even tony stark. Have given Peter suits to help him out. Dude ever since the 2010’s, 9/10 if Peter has a suit it’s decked out with tech. I’d very much rather people just say “I don’t like the adaptations from other stories they’re tryna do with tom” instead of “ToM bAd🤣” he isn’t going to have a lot of responsibilities to take care of in a established universe where gods hold people up in towns cuz they were sad about their robot baby daddy dying.
