The play could end now or go on indefinitely. If we collectively carry that weight, it isn't so heavy. If you're feeling profoundly sad right now, it just means that you've felt profound happiness before, and that feeling will return. Live until you die. And finally, it's a lot to ask, but I don't want you to be sad that he's gone, I want you to be amazed that any of us ever got to discover Kyle at all.

That's so cool to hear. Great to know that even those unfamiliar with the source material can still appreciate this. I assume you've never seen Kyle do his Tetris streams from a few years ago, so you could also check out my sequel to this video all about him overcoming a legendary highscore in Tetris. It should be on the home page of my channel.

Hey everyone... it's weird for me to feel proud of this success, considering the main message of this tribute was to do things to make yourself happy and not to be successful or futilely try to make others care, but in less than two weeks my video has over 10,000 views, which is more than I ever expected. I'd like to say that I'm not some "attention starved weirdo" but the truth is every single positive comment on youtube, reddit, twitter, facebook, and neogaf has lifted my spirits. Conversely, my Breaking Bad tribute, which was for a much more popular subject barely broke 100 views (half of them were from myself). I think the difference, based on so many comments I've read, is that no one expected so much effort to be made for something so relatively unpopular (my favorite being "this video is a miracle of the universe"). Just goes to show you that doing something no one else is willing to do will turn heads. Thanks again, everyone, for giving a damn and watching the whole thing, and for sharing the video and your feelings. Also, I'm almost positive Kyle's mom retweeted the video, so I can now die happy.

Just incredible. Made me tear up a few times. I definitely feel for both Kyle and the creator of this video on multiple levels. May none of us ever tilt the right analog stick all the way forward. I love the analogy of Kyle's total weirdo Batman to Michael Huber's Joker. I love every last tiny joke you made with the editing and the voiceover. The dreamy synth pop soundtrack that you personally mixed together. I couldn't appreciate this video more. Thank you for all of the time, love, and heartbreak you put into this video. "You're alone in this world" "I will WIN this alone!!"

I'm pretty confident Bosman is an actual genius, and you are a genius for recognizing his genius. That's how it works. Exceptional tribute. It's just too bad Kyle's been locked up for life after that whole "Link to the Past" stunt he pulled... he could have really changed the world (of video games).

+TheMangoViking Oh yeah I remember. Yeah there's about 130 FB episodes, but this also comes from interviews, Mandatory Updates, Kyle's Stand Up (new and old), and his school film project, Dance on Friday. Getting the audio to remain audible while removing the background music/sounds was the most time consuming part, but it was also just keeping notes on every single idea from all those sources that took so long. My evernote page had trouble loading it was so big.
