If there's any KFB fans still looking for optimism, here it is. Even though car was soooo junk the first half of the race ( couldn't even pass for 31st), after the delay, it was clearly much better. You could see he was comfortable, passing 15 or so cars...even up front he got up to third passing good cars. Towards the end, he had the 2nd or 3rd best car. Was better than lagano. They hit on something. It might not show up in Chicago on the street course, but it might show up at Pocono and indy. Still an uphill battle with qualifying until he gets a few decent finishes...but they didn't just luck into being up front yesterday...he passed a lot of cars as well.

The first one he just hit the apron which got into Chastain, no penalty required. Then he simply ran out of gas, once again no penalty required as that kind of incident has happened many times before. Then he just simply had fresher tires and just drove around everyone. Nothing there should be a penalty

I know Kyle basically got pushed out of Gibbs racing to give Ty his car but this team and car is trash. Childress was only good when he had Dale Sr racing for him. He's the only driver that could make that team look good. Harvick wasn't bad but he didn't win a cup until he left.

The racing sucked as usual...aero tight...heck, bell couldn't pass the 3 at the end of stage 2...pathetic racing...no tire fall off...it took a bunch of bone head mistakes to make it interesting...and the more people ask for more of this, the longer it'll take nascar to fix the glaring issues with the cars.

I started the day expecting a DNF...starting 27th? Car was junk..couldnt even pass fir 31st....then the rain came and...they found something...started passing everyone...strategy got them track position...car was good. Got wrecked...no wait...field froze and he didn't hit anything...Larson doesn't go and only 1 car wrecks...and it's the 8. You absolutely nailed it.

KB is a good dude and father, but RCR is not working out for him he is still as good as ever just start a team or do like his brother did and go to a smaller team. And Kurt had great runs with small teams. And yes I'm a Larson fan but don't start on the front row restart and know you don't have the fuel. Nascar just needs to give them a one gallon bigger tank.
