@@stanrouxjr5208 Normally I would agree that rookies in the 500 stand a good chance of taking out cars that otherwise would be contenders, but Kyle Larson is that once in a generation wheelman. He’s that guy that seems to have the ability to drive anything, anytime, anyplace. That’s why I’m not really surprised he set the second fastest time of the day. Just put him in it, he’ll drive the wheels off of it. He went dirt sprint car racing in 2020 and won 46 races, about half of all races entered, then 2021 wins a nascar championship.

He is in nascar still bit he paired with mclaren to run the Indy 500. So tommorow he will race the Indy 500 and then right after the race he will catch a flight to Charlotte motorspeedway to race at the coke cola 600

I think if anyone can pull off a win in both the Indy 500 and The Coca-Cola 600 it would be Kyle Larson. Of course racing 1100 miles requires quite a bit of luck as well to stay out of trouble. Good Luck Kyle.

Larson is the only reason I started watching NASCAR again ! He makes moves on the track like no other, no matter where he is, being dirt asphalt or concrete

NASCAR drivers in my opinion are the greatest racecar drivers in YW world. There are no other professional sanctioning bodies like Nascar that had cases that weigh twice as much with tires 2/3 the width, maybe ½ the width and the hardest professional racecars to drive. So to go from a cup car, another car with twice the grip, at a track that's he's raced on before with a car a lot harder to drive. But this is just my opinion.

@specter0023 to be fair, the car does most of the work in F1, otherwise Verstappen would not have as many wins as he does now. And don't shrug off Kyle like he hasn't done anything, man's has numerous track records on dirt tracks and has won a Cup championship.
