Turn blue is a perfect album if you understand the sadness it conveys

These two guys are really down to Earth lol. I don't agree with some of the stuff on their new album, but I really do support the band and really do support their shift in sound and musical exploration. And ultimately, they are still my favorite band over all. I think I like their musical advice that was given in this interview.

@6:10 it's really nice to see pat being humble about bands being influenced by them, I want to start a blues rock band and was worried that I'd sound "too much" like my influences but it's cool to see they're not bothered by it.

Yeah I get that, if you ever did start the band and need a producer I'm still learning and would love to help you guys out!

People are complaining about the new album already, they don't need 14 tracks they decided weren't good enough.

TheAnthraxBiology The extra songs, as per statements in the interview were not completed and/or didn't fit as part of the album's structure or sound.

The "catchy" song on turn blue is the worst pos song the keys ever wrote, and i feel the song "turn blue" was a breath of fresh air after El Camino.
