There used to be a fishing spot down the cliffs on the left over 35 years ago and we'd hike down the side of the cliff right down to the water. It was nicknamed the Gun Hole. Great fishing spot long before any golf course was there. Dangerous thinking back but happy days as a teen fishing down there.

Great video as really shows how gorgeous the Old Head is as have played there a couple of times the past decade. Brilliant staff, amazing views and unbelievable course especially when you play along the cliffs. Had a brilliant caddy the last time I was there Dave who was outstanding while had the opposite experience the first time I played there, one of the rudest caddies I have ever had on my bag, Eoin. Anyway brilliant video as brought back some fond memories.

You have done everything on the LD tour, I think you should focus on getting on the PGA, I would be so happy for you and root for you every week. Great video again, only one hiccup that crazy right underneath the ball. Can’t wait for Fridays now. Thanks again

If you're in Ireland for another few days, check out the Isles in connemara and connemara golf course. The isles is a 9-hole course on the Atlantic which is fairly tight and has amazing views and connemara hosted the Irish Open a while back. Weather is due to return to normal in a few days, so you might get the real irish links experience

Kyle, beautiful and amazing golf course and you played it wonderfully. The "rooster" BTW was actually, as I see others have mentioned, a pheasant. They can only flap their wings for about 8 seconds. So they only fly when completely necessary. Just enough to escape a fox or whatever. They flap for a few seconds and then glide. Sometimes I scare them in our garden by mistake and they fly off only to return 10 minutes later looking pissed off when they’ve walked back from wherever they landed.

Did I see a 414 yard drive on No.2. Who is this guy? I live in Kinsale, that's the Atlantic Ocean. The Irish Sea is farther East from Kinsale/Cork
@skellirl22 ай бұрын
Technically it's the Celtic Sea which is part of the Atlantic.
@columkenn2 ай бұрын
@skellirl2 Technically it's the Atlantic Ocean. The name Celtic Sea was only attributed to that part of the Atlantic Ocean in relatively recent decades. It was always known as The Atlantic Ocean until some dudes recently decided to give it another name within the Atlantic Ocean. Very few refer to it as Celtic Sea, it's mostly just called the Atlantic Ocean. Technically it is and always was just The Atlantic Ocean.
@skellirl22 ай бұрын
@columkenn Technically the Celtic Sea. We're not in the past my friend. What is it right now was the question so let us not twist it to suit your own agenda 😊👍
@skellirl22 ай бұрын
@columkenn And to further disprove your point "Seas are smaller than oceans and are usually located where the land and ocean meet" Ocean is far a larger body of water. So it is the Celtic Sea no matter how you want to twist it.
@columkenn2 ай бұрын
@skellirl2 Technically the Atlantic. Some random dudes decided to name it the Celtic Sea a few decades ago. You can play their game of 'call this region of the Atlantic Ocean the Celtic Sea', that doesn't mean the rest of the world plays the same game. Technically it is and always was the Atlantic Ocean. It is still the Atlantic Ocean. I grew up in Ireland, studied Geography in Irish schools and we often studied the Oceans and Seas of the world. Never once was the Atlantic Ocean south of Cork named the Celtic Sea. It was always named the Atlantic Ocean.
