8:20 so true Kyle no one will ever know how it is unless you try it. But it’s how we build our character with the ups and downs of a excavation business. Thanks for the video have a good one!

It seems to me that you're going to need somebody inside the office either to manage the projects or get things rolling for you on the field. Something I've learned and I'm pretty sure someone's at least told you, is as the owner of a business our jobs are to grow the business and help keep it running smoothly making good executive decisions. when we're not doing that we are slowing down the growth of our business and potentially hurting it. I used to do all the invoicing and accounting and everything by myself, as well as being onsite. I'm thankful that I was able to find somebody to help around the front desk. It has paid off dividends man, I have more time to bid work and to relax. I'm still not quite there yet for my business goals but I know this is really helping. There is a labor shortage in Houston as well, I've been trying to put together a second crew for months now. Crazy thing is that I pay above what most people pay but we only work a maximum of 50 hours. People are willing to earn less and work more. Insane!
