I also like green, Emperor’s Legions to return all the units back seems fun. Probably not worth a command base just for the card. Could get in some SLTs though

Green it's fun, I found the other day a midrange green kylo with the 30 life base who discarded a palp and then returned it back with the green event, wiping out my board before I could deal lethal damage in that same turn

I’d suggest using Kylo’s discard ability more often turn 2, so many time you chose not to when it would’ve been great. Like buffing bo katan to 5 attack to take out the sundari peacekeeper, or even 5 damage base Edit: Yeah you really should review game 3, where you didn’t use it turn 2 or 3 and it meant you had 3 cards in hand so didn’t want to flip Kylo. Just always discard when possible and also when your opponent is tapped out for max value, lots of missed damage this game. I basically use it every turn before kylo flips so he is a 5/4 on turn 3, and at least a 4/4 after resourcing the next turn. Game 4 you should’ve lost if Iden knew what they were doing, she took initiative when she hadn’t healed or even flipped and you were out of gas, again not getting the most damage with not using kylo’s ability. I’d replace the 2 drop 1/4 with force throw or choke to help remove sentinels and clear your hand on Kylo flip turn

Totally agree. I definitely missed that a couple of times. Actually, I didn't want to flip Kylo in game 3 because I believe my opponent had a "takedown" in hand, which is why they kept passing. I think they were waiting for me to deploy Kylo so that they could immediately kill it

@@SWUDAD In general, what you are aiming with with this deck is maximizing damage on early game. With this deck it is natural do to a lot of actions in the early phases, so as previously said I would also encourage more discarding and flipping kylo asap. Also regarding the takedown, even if your opponent essentially spends the whole turn to use takedown on a deployed kylo, that is a win for you. As long as you managed to sneak in some damage, after all the kylo unit is not that relevant as a leader but i would just see it as a extra source of damage.

I run partisan in the sideboard and force throw in the main deck, the extra discard is great.

Makes sense. I switched in “Keep Fighting” in the main board and took out Partisan, but I could see force throw being really strong main

@@SWUDAD played a friend using sabine green tonight (the set 2 upgraded version). 2-0'd him on turn 3 one game, first action of turn 4 the next game. it was NUTS... kinda hard to believe. I think when people realize this they'll start ECL'ing into death star stormtroopers on turn 2 haha

I played Kylo Red yesterday at my LGS, similar list, but I lost 2 of the 3 Games. One against discard Rey, One against Krennic ECL. You can‘t be fast, of they control your board and hand. Force Through is so strong against Kylo, Takedown is a One Shot for Kylo Unit. And unfortunaly, didn‘t see fallen Lightsaber once 😄

Yeah going wide is the best way to beat those decks. Look at game 4 in this video against Iden green and how I beat them. Similar matchup to Krennic

@@SWUDAD against Rey I played Tie Fighter and death Star Stormtrooper first round, he an A-Wing. Second Turn I made my damage, played 5th Brother, my oponnent Yoda. Round 3 he played 2 Force Through in a row, A-Wing killed the Tie, quit unlucky. Kylo made his 5 damage this round, but next round he was Toast thanks to Takedown ^^

I wish I had pulled the silencers to give this a shot, but in 8 boxes I saw 0 silencers. I might try GI blue since the ship means less there. It also looks fast, that or sabine green with darksaber.

@@AVikingNerd GI Blue is sweet. Similar to this deck in that it can win on turn 3. Most of the cards are cheap as well. I posted a video of that a few weeks ago. I would switch out Krrsantan for Clan Challengers though from my last list

I run this with fang fighters instead of silencers for the same reason, it’s still pretty great but silencer would make it way better for sure.

This looks like a good list for this, but I’d go tarkentown, the damaging in a super fast deck seems better than 30hp imo

Appreciate it!! My thinking is that some of my opponents will occasionally get off to faster starts than me, and that extra 5 hp gives you a nice cushion and buy you a little time to play "catch-up" which you can do in here very easily. I can see why others would choose tarkintown though

@@86Disab yeah I hear ya. Play on karabast. Find the deck you like the most by testing out everything for free. You could than slowly get the cards to play again in person. Prices should hopefully drop by the holidays when we finally get reprints

I believe he had a “Takedown” in hand and was waiting for me to deploy Kylo Ren to immediately remove it. It ended up costing him the game though because I just claimed initiative, and kept pushing damage

@@grnman86 just random stuff from my recording application. Watch game 4 vs Iden Green. This deck has a decent amount of reach (daring raid, the chaos of war, migs mayfield, saw garerra, reckless gunslinger, etc) and goes so wide that it has good answers for decks like that

Definitely one of the tougher matchups. The goal is try to win before they can get to the big stuff of course. Guild target/Punishing One combo is really good here. Chaos of War is definitely solid.
