@@Dr.Zorafoxlvl3 Makes sense Nah it really just makes the blade slightly more powerful (which, I don't even know what that means - Kylo's lightsaber has never been shown to be able to cut through any more than a regular one, and a lightsaber is already the most dangerous melee weapon in the universe, it doesn't exactly have a shortage of power) and definitely makes it look cooler (the wavy pattern) plus it necessitates the crossguards (which ALSO look cooler) so as a design choice it's brilliant but doesn't really make any difference to the story

To be honest, this was very well made for something that isn't official, and shows Kylo having to deal with the inner struggles of his wants. He wants to be Vader so damn bad, but Vader was so strong, that damn near everything was effortless for him. This was amazing, and would have been a cool deleted scene type thing, when he would have been next to the helmet or something like that. 10/10 quality.

Luke feared Vader, and the vision ultimately showed him he was fighting himself all along, that he is afraid of himself not being strong enough. Kylo Ren fears not being as strong as Vader, but ultimately is fighting himself because he fears his own weakness just like Luke did.

The Broken One the ignition sounds are meant to go with the character’s emotions I think, since Kyber crystals are nigh on sentient Force affected objects, they sense the emotion of the user, hence when Anakin is using his Jedi Saber in ROTS in the Jedi temple raid, and especially when killing the younglings, you hear the Sith ignition. The crystal senses when a Lightsaber is activated in anger, hatred, and pain. Thus it reacts differently. When someone activated a saber with a calm and peaceful mind, or a mind with the intent of defense or necessity you hear the Jedi sound, the saber knows the intentions of its use. Hence when a Jedi is angry, you hear a Sith ignition. That’s my theory. It’s kind of like Dirty Harry’s gun sound. When he briefly uses a different revolver, you hear the same sound. The idea behind it is that whatever he uses, will always sound like that. He’s the hero, that’s the hero’s gun sound. It’s a creative choice.

Darth Vader Yeah that’s why Vader vanished when kylo turns around after that stormtrooper says they still haven’t found anything. It could have been just Kylo’s fear of ruining Vader’s legacy causing him to hallucinate or perhaps the ghost of Vader visiting him in full form rather than through the burnt helmet. We won’t know for sure until Rise of Skywalker.

Remember guys Kylo Ren only won because it was actually an illusion. He was losing because he was being honest with himself knowing he would never surpass Vader and his powers would never work on him and it got his fear of never being strong as him, he landed a blow and won at the end because of his fear, it gave him the instinct to survive and not allow his own mind to "kill him" and also it represented his desire to be the "new Vader"(which is a good reason to imagine himself killing Vader with his own lightsaber), therefore he was able to kill his vision. Luke also fought and "killed" Vader in dagobah which was actually an illusion while it was obvious he could never defeat Darth Vader as it was shown later in their duel in cloud city. So in my opinion this fan-film is gold

Its not necessarily effortlessly. Vader isn't capable of moving his arms completely above his head due to the armor on his shoulders. So every swing he's implementing is more so strength based, not finesse such as Maul
