Kelsey Jo yes. That is so scary to me to think of a 13 year old getting drunk, Having sex and then a baby. Just seems unreal. Mom is just a baby still. So hard to imagine. It was hard enough for me at 19.

Actually it is both parents fault and their parents for not teaching their stupid children how to use protection. The idiot father is not absolved. But only the woman decides the future of the child witch is not quit fair. The child has no say in this. It starts his life emotionally handicapped.

If a man doesn’t want to be part of a child’s life you can’t force him in forcing him pay child support you know that I know court has the right to do that revision of the riser that that’s between two people that decide to make that kid should I step up oh hell yes he should step up if you don’t wanna be in the child’s life you can’t make them my real father never want to be my life and I never knew him but I did have a step dad that raised me so I was lucky to me he was my father because he did everything and father does but you can’t criticize about the fathers because if they don’t wanna be a part of his life then they know they’re not going to be and That’s sad

This was really something hard to watch!!! As a teen mom 26 years ago it brought back the hard ships. I was 16 pregnant and got married!!! By 18 I was on my own but my daughter did see her dad continuously throughout her life which was very good!!! Man life was so hard but we were blessed to have our families for moral support and if we needed a night off they were happy to have our daughter for the night. By 18 we were divorced and it added to the stress but it was the right thing for us and emotionally it helped me drastically. He has always been an active part of our daughters life. At 22 I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter and after I refused to have an abortion he walked out. We later got back together and for the most part he stayed active in her life, then alcoholism really took over. I had to keep my daughters safe from as much as I could. I was a very determined person who would not go on assistance so I worked my but off and went to college and earned my nursing degree. As my girls grew up my fear was that this would happen to them. My mom was 17 and I was 16. Thank goodness they both broke the cycle. I did lose my friends back then but I had new friends that were older and it was where I fit it best. Thank goodness everything worked out and my babies didn’t have babies at a young age. They are 26 and 21 now. Neither have children but my one daughter has lost 2 babies😢💔

I got pregnant at 13 and had my son at 13 and I can definitely relate to that 13 year old mom, I didn't wanna go out cause I knew people already said things about me and said I was a bad mom when they didbt even know me and I knew they would only say it more if they seen me out with my friends without my baby but after 7 months of never leaving the house for longer than an hour without him, I learned that people were gonna talk and say what they wanted no matter how great of a mom I was and I was honestly very lucky to have the support I did and I had just about every Friday and Saturday night after he went to bed to be able to go out with my friends and still be a teenage in some ways, same thing when it comes to things at school cause I finished high school and my parents would watch him and let me have some freedom to still experience all the normal high school stuff as much as possible

Personally, I think having babies this young without an established relationship is a mistake. But I dont know why everyone in this thread is getting so negative. Everyone makes mistakes, and the consequences of those mistakes CAN haunt you or make life difficult for you after the mistake is made. But it doesnt mean that life isnt redemptive. Dealing with the consequences of your own mistake is part of life, but it doesnt mean you can redeem the time and make the best of it. Im especially proud of Rubies mom. She obviously has it hard, but she is working so hard to restore what she has lost and provide for her little one. People dont deserve to be condemned all their lives for a mistake that was made. They should be encouraged to work even harder to restore their life.

Thx for posting and sharing. Great eye opening video. I always said that having children has been the hardest job I’ve ever loved. I have three All now are teens but my first I had at 19 and 15 months later I had twins. Then my husband got sent overseas when they were 2 and 4 years old. Very hard but we made it! Moms can be so very strong In even the hardest situations. I now have terminal cancer. They have given me an expiration date but I plan to beat it! Even tho my babies are 16 and 17 now, they still need their mommy. Beautiful story and definitely so brave of you to share. Inspiration most definitely and a way to show what can happen and how hard it is as a young mom.

laminage so very true. I’m in the states as well. But many white boys/ men are doing the same now. I don’t think it matters the race. It’s the mind set in these kids and their parents being to busy out having fun instead of raising their own children and then they are left to the streets to raise them. Or their parents are working constantly because things are so very hard for people right now and money is tight and the kids become latch key kids. It’s heartbreaking. Then the generations just keep continuing it instead of breaking the cycle. I was on of those kids who’s mother was single and working two jobs while my grandma raised me.

Aye, I should have said tho, I myself have three children and have been married since the age of 19. We just celebrated out 18 year anniversary in August. I don’t know how we stayed together but we did. Neither one of us ever gave up on each other and took staying a family first because I came from a broken home and all I wanted was a real family, and my husband grew up with parents that stayed together like us so that’s all he knew was you don’t give up. I’m thankful we broke at least my side of the families cycle with many many women in my family being married more than once and basically everyone of them finally gave up on love and are all still single and don’t want a man around. I’m so thankful for my husband. Don’t know where we would be without him. Blessed and I’m so thankful for it.

I just watched the Kizzy Special for the second time, and I remember four or five uploads. After I saw this one, I just had to rewatch, I got pregnant at 13, had my son at 14, and no one here in Florida USA looked at me sideways, and honestly most of my friends had kids as well ,multiple, 🙄I did not, second & only other son when I was 28 ,I was a lot more patient as a young mom, believe it or not, I couldn’t wait to get back to work when I was older, having said that, the trolls really trolled Kizzy, to the point you can’t comment, and I appreciate the work heart and soul you’re putting into this special for the teen moms that you have met, I recognized you, but didn’t remember your name, that’s come full circle now😇, if you find yourself, young and pregnant, do what you feel is right, and remember, the naysayers are usually the ones that have went through it, or someone in their family have, or they’re just down right nasty, do the best for your child and family, because in the end, that’s who really matters✌🏻💕

Levi is an amazing mother period, not even considering that she was 13 when becoming pregnant. Teen pregnancy doesn't discriminate. It happens in ALL walks of life, races, & economic backgrounds. There are so few boys who step up. It reflects poorly on THEIR parents. If my sons EVER impregnated someone, they would be held responsible. It is a shame, but it is reality. The boys sticking around is a very slim statistic. I do not understand why young women are not considering adoption?? Especially, when they're already living in poverty. Placing your child with an adoptive family is the most selfless act a mother can take, to love their child enough to want the best future possible, & hopefully break the cycle.

That is not true! It is an equal fault between the male and the female! Raising a baby alone is not a punishment! It's a consequence. Just because a teen get pregnant at a young age doesn't mean they are a whore. It means they made a choice with a male to have intercourse without protection. They have a decision to not raise the baby. They choose to raise the child the best they can.

It makes me sick to hear a 13 year old even having sex, where the hell were the parents? If someone say I can't be with them 24/7 is crap! At 13 I KNEW 100% where & what my child was doing. I kept them involved in sports & FFA raising animals learning responsibility!! I NEVER forced them into things they didn't enjoy I made sure it was something they enjoyed. My daughter's are now very successful, married and living life b4 kids they are 23 & 26 I'm proud I lead my kids in the right direction. Plus at 13 a child body is not ready to give birth it's barely just in puberty. SMH.

Hannah is very irresponsible. I'm sorry but giving your kid junk food is completely unacceptable. She's supposed to be raising a healthy child. Her child will be ill living on that shitty food. If you think you're responsible enough to have unprotected sex and risk catching an STD or falling pregnant, you should be responsible enough to understand adequate nutrition.

Even the shower mostly every 2 days is been cleaned and my unborn sons room even though has not here yet is always clean . Why is this lady making out that 18 is a child ? she keeps saying 'teen mum' like thats what she was. But she wasn't. In the UK you're a LEGAL ADULT at 18 so sorry yes she was a YOUNG mum but she was by no means a TEEN mum. Edit : and before people start i was a YOUNG mum. I had my son at 19 and yeah i struggled( and struggle still sometimes) but i would never refer to myself as a TEEN mum. Also it is really annoying that this woman keeps trying to push the narrative that the grandmother's are raising the babies and the mums aren't involved. She said she was in the wrong eventually but still. Not good enough. ESPECIALLY when she was a young mum who got judged constantly herself. She should know better than to judge a book by its cover but i guess she thinks shes better than all that now that she is older 🤦‍♀️😒

Forced motherhood? Do you ever consider maybe keeping the baby was theses teenagers choice and that she didn't want an abortion... Not everyone believes in abortion and forcing abortion is just as bad as forcing someone to birth children.

szorohov85 I'm a person who has been on IVF and had 10 attempts, one child from this and had miscarriages. Ive had people hide pregnancies from me and tell me when 5 months plus and apologize for being pregnant. Sometimes pregnancies aren't planned but that doesnt mean they should be forced to give that child up. There are MANY ADULTS with children who neglect their child and do lots of damage and can cause death. These teen girls will do ok if they are kept an eye on and have the support. And before you ask yes sometimes life isn't fair to those that want children and couldn't have them but doesn't mean you penalize others for our own grief n loss
