@motorcyclerescuer Do you still happen to have a triumph TT600? Im in need of some sort of tutorial on how to remove the clipons to replace them. If not no worries but i cant find a video on it and they seem different then any other clipon. Thanks in advance, no worries if you cant help.

Choice is less air or bigger jets

Check float height and needle height mate

Maybe you've already tried it, but a squirt of brake cleaner around all the potential leak points should tell you if it's drawing air where it shouldn't. That could account for the high idle, too.

Hi Rick. Hope your well mate. In the end it needed a second more through carb clean, including the diaphragm and air/fuel chamber. It ran beautifully after that. Cheers mate

I think with all your old bikes, a sonic cleaner would really benefit you. But take cares off unscrew the jets a buy jet cleaning brushes.

Ive tried sonic cleaners in the past and have never been overly impressed. I tend to get better results cleaning by hand.

Blocked inline fuel filter.?.....make sure it's in the right direction arrow Towards carb. Sounds like fuel starvation.

Hi old school. I've not done much more on the electrics after the level 2 although did set up a practice board at home which can be fun. I'm not sure how much further I'm going to take it at this stage but will consider it. I'm a touch low at the moment, life stuff taking over but will be ok. Cheers mate. Great hearing from you.

Sounds like too much air or too little fuel, leaning towards air though

Yes. I gave it a quick clean but it needed a good second clear to really work well.
