@3:42 I recommend viewers read Newey's autobiography. I would describe it as less "nuts-and-bolts" when compared to Mark Donohue's book, but more "nuts-and-bolts" when compared to Steiner's. When beholding such a subdued and brainy man the book includes such outrageous moments as an early Red Bull victory party thrown at Horner's estate wherein a high-flying Newey borrows a fellow guest's new Lamborghini and treats the rest of the guests to a donut show on the stately lawn. 😅

It would be great to see Fernando Alonso win WDCs 20 years apart. That would easily be a record, and a realistic possibility in 2026 if the neck strain of 6 G acceleration doesn't force him into retirement. Currently, the oldest WDC was Juan Manuel Fangio who, at the age of 46 in 1957, didn't have those forces to contend with. In recent years, Fernando has been "punching above his weight" (as far as the cars are concerned), so it would be just reward for him to get a Newey car.

Aston Martin is becoming the Miami Heats of the NBA. The Heats formed the "Dream Team" with Lebron James, Wade, and Bosch, and Lebron famously said "we're not gonna win one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six" implying they will win so many Championships. Stroll have built himself a dream team here, with great minds from Red Bull, Ferrari, and Mercedes, let's just hope they are not the Miami Heat.
