Thanks Joe! I definitely took a chance with the black but it turned out great. One of my favorite builds really. The legendary series Kyosho RCs are so good...the quality of the parts, the build, how they drive... everything.

I love it brother. Even when I do box art I still put my own touches on them. I dig what you’ve got for colors. They all work together

Thanks! It has that vintage buggy style and it looks good in the dirt... can't ask for more than that. Thanks for watching!

This one was a lot of fun honestly, with all the metal parts and the quality. They are a bit more than Tamiya kits but so worth it....love my Legendary Series Optima too...Great running cars.

Hey great build. Love the black and gold. I have built this kit and love it. You are right to say that this is superior to the Tamiya Wild One but I do enjoy driving that one too. I hope you are enjoying it 😁👍

I love it, it's a little heavy and underpowered with the 19t Reedy motor, but still a blast to drive. I try not to damage this one, it's too pretty 😂

I really love my TS and I like the cool black and white theme you went with. I also like taking the sticker off the motor and putting the TS sticker on it. I agree that the tires on this are great. I do like my block spikes on my Tomahawks though as they are so aggressive looking but you can also do the white tire lettering on them to match the fronts! This one is a great running buggy as well! Have fun with it!

Thanks!...I love the black, it will show every scratch, but I couldn't resist the black and white style. I think tire writing on the rear would look awesome on this...I haven't tried it before...a little scared to try it to be honest. I also considered painting the wheels in the same gold, or 2 tone. I also love the idea of working lights on this too.. maybe that will be stage 2 for this one. For now I'll enjoy it how it is. 😊

Just 'discovered' your channel - you did a great job with the car (and the video!) - I really like the colours. I am looking to get a 1/10 scale 2WD buggy in the course of this year. I got the Losi mini JRX2 for Christmas from my wife and got a taste for vintage-ish buggies and want something larger and a bit faster. Turbo Scropion is definitely high in my wish list. I may wait for the Tamiya BBX as it looks really interesting, but I am having a hard time to judge how it will drive. I will be driving either on a local (paved) small pump track, or simply on unpaved surfaces, not on an actual RC track (as there don't seem to be any around).

Nice! There are so many great choices for 2WD kits. I pre-ordered the BBX, I'm hoping it drives as good as it looks. The Losi mini JRX2 is fun...great gift from the wife! You might want to look into the Kyosho Dirt Master. That is coming out soon and might be a good fit. 1/10th scale, 2WD, based on a race buggy so it should be plenty fast for you...and has classic retro buggy looks. Also check out my video of the Tamiya Sand Viper, that might be good too. Anything you choose will be fun really. Thanks for watching and for subscribing!

I suggest any Tamiya or Kyosho buggy of the vintage nature. I’m currently restoring a 1987 Tamiya Falcon on my channel. Eek always has cool stuff on his channel 🤘
@eekrc Жыл бұрын
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers I've been watching! The Falcon is iconic... I've done a few myself. So hard to find a good car that isn't cracked everywhere. I refuse to keep them once I restore one...I get too tempted to drive it like I was 13 again...lol

Lol...it's a good choice if it is your first buggy. The Kyosho legendary kits are great quality and fun to build. Definitely get a nice brushless setup in it and rip it around. You won't be disappointed. Have fun if you do get one!

Will the scorpion chrome wheels fit on this model?
@eekrc8 ай бұрын
The TS comes with hex adapters, the Scorpion comes with the friction plate type of adapter, you can probably buy the adapters then put those on, but I'm not sure about the offset since the TS is wider than the Scorpion. They would look great on it though, but wouldn't perform as well as these low profile wheels and tires.
