Amazing!! Love watching that lill buggy go! Suspension and steering geometry and overall design have come such a long way! That thing was at about 6° camber when at full lock! Great camera work and super high quality yet again!

It's a one run re-release...in other words, Kyosho only made one batch of these and that's it....gonna keep it looking good

That's a good one...not sure. I'm not sure what parts are compatible from the re-release to the original Optima. I know a lot of collectors and builders find parts from donor cars they find on ebay and such

semperatis sure....there's classes out there. I haven't looked specifically at the rules though

Most of the vintage classes that I know of allow anything pre '96, so the best 2wd'a you're looking at Losi XX and RC10 Worlds Car but anything previous to that would be allowed including the Turbo Scorpion in the above video. Personally I'm eagerly waiting for Kyosho to re-re the Optima Mid.

I don't think Kyosho is done with the re-releases...they're going in order if you watch them. Scorp, Tamahawk, Beetle, Optima, Turbo Scorp......
