In the mid 80s I got my first Kyosho kit, a Turbo Ultima. I had already built and owned several Tamiya cars and loved them. The quality of the Kyosho parts amazed me. The materials, fit, finish, everything was perfect. I still love my Tamiya kits and still buy them, but I've always known Kyosho is the highest quality brand.

Heyo, your videos have inspired me to consider getting back into the rc hobby, about a year back I tried to waterproof my wpl c14, it worked for a bit but the motor eventually was destroyed by water I think I'll go back in with the wpl b24 and stay away from water, been looking at many of your videos on both and they've been a help
@TomleyRC4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Calvin, glad I helped you out. As for (Brushed) Motors... they are ok in water, as long as you make sure they are allowed to dry..so either a small amount of WD40, or just drive them around for a bit once they are out of the water.

ok, i have a question and i know that i can rely on you. iam planning on buying a motor/ESC combo. the thing is, the motor is rated for 66A, but the ESC is only for 45A. i know it shouldnt be run like this, but they sell it as a combo anyway (?). so, for how long should i full-throttle it? or is it safer than i think?
@TomleyRC4 жыл бұрын
Well it will 'probably' be ok, but you'll not get the full potential out of the motor. I've run motors that are to powerful for the ESC before, and not had any issues, however, that's not saying it's the right thing to do
