Traveling to Kyoto after the Japan lockdown lifting. Really surprised to see no people at popular Kyoto travel spots. Waking up at APA Hotel with deep corona discount (2,500JPY/ Night), Eating Onigiri Riceball and visiting popular Kyoto Spots, Arashiyama, Togetsukyo bridge, Nishiki Ichiba Market, and Ysaka no Tou (Best photo spots), showing how the room looks like and the atmosphere.
I understand that many people had to cancel their Japan trip due to Covid-19 outbreak, so hope you can enjoy traveling to Kyoto with me though this video😊 Also, showing how much it costs, and how long it takes during my travel, so hopefully my video can help your next Japan travel😉
This is the Day 2 video, Please check my Day 1 video as well!

If anyone dares to travel during COVID 19, it is a traveler's dream to travel now - no crowds, cheap flights, and discounted hotel accommodation. The two times I was in Japan, all these tourist destinations in Kyoto were packed with tourists. Thanks for sharing your video.

Hello Rion-san, Thank you for constantly uploading videos about the current situation in Japan! Although we still cannot travel to Japan due to the outbreak, it’s utterly nice to be able to see the familiar places as if we are there. Keep it up & stay safe w/ ur mask on!

Can’t wait for you to travel to other locations like Kanazawa or Kumamoto! You always give background and insight into Japanese culture which even large travel guide channels do not know about. My favorite is how you separate and describe both tourist and non tourist tips. I got hooked on your videos because of the locals/non tourist knowledge!

Thanks for showing Kyoto amidst the pandemic. It was interesting and eerie to see popular tourist attractions like the bamboo forest without tourists, giving focus on Kyoto’s beauty. I’d like to suggest more videos showcasing beautiful attractions across famous cities that are now empty of tourists. I think it’d be compelling to see these attractions on their own without the noise and distraction of tourists.

Stayed 3 nights last November with parents in Gojozaka. Taxi from Kyoto station was not bad. Kiyomizu-Gojo subway station was about 10-15 from where we stayed an Kiyomizu was open at night, with additional lighting. Very pretty with the leaves turning colors. Bamboo forest was really crowded in the afternoon. If you do go to the forest, Tenryuji temple is in the area and go to the next door Dharma Hall (Hatto) to see the Cloud Dragon painting.
