Lost her mechanics and collapsed on herself... I’d be hurt... all that hard work just comes crashing down 😔
@kalenjifly4 жыл бұрын
You are right. She just lost the right mechanics flow and rhythm. Looking the front images I probably think her legs were almost to the pick of stress they could maintain so she lost he control of legs and ankles also. So you are right: it's a sort of collapse. Very good point yours
@BulletTrainProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@kalenjifly Thank you, this was also similar to what to happened to Shaunae Miller-Uibo when she collapsed and failed to keep her feet underneath her, alot of people say she dived but she didn't, the mechanics failed so the body gives out naturally when that happens...
@DexterHaven4 жыл бұрын
And she didn't walk across the line to get a point for herself and her team. It's as if she had a meltdown of form and mind. A nervous breakdown at the thought of letting victory slip away from her in slo mo. She lost to a never-before seen time in NCAA track. 22.02 Michael Johnson: "Oh, yeah, hold my Gatorade..."

All she had to do was stayed relaxed and she would have won and ran 21.9. Tragic doesn't even begin to describe this.

That's happened to me before. You just lose control and collapse. I was in a sprint finish, me and the other guy were miles ahead of the third place, but he was able to hold it together better than I could. I never did get my revenge on him during track season, I was scared the same thing would happen again.

This is the race that set up Oregon Women having to win the 4x400 to win the team title. That one point that Stevens did not get by failing to finish could’ve spelt doom for the Ducks but we all know what happened in the 4x400 🦆🥇🏆
@DexterHaven4 жыл бұрын
The Duck runner (5:17) just lost all form and poise and started to flail and become unhinged. She panic for an extra gear that wasn't there and feel apart like a cheap suit in a clothes dryer.

So what happens to the other runners when someone falls in your lane???????
@mylifeisJDM4 жыл бұрын
If moving out of your lane didn't give you an advantage, you're fine. If, for example, she pushed a runner on the curve further into the curve, making that runner run a bit shorter, they'd get disqualified.

Too much adrenalin, lost form, timing and power. Her heart was there but legs couldn't co-ordinate under such pressure. You don't train that hard to fall on purpose. 2nd in 100m and 2nd in 200m would've been something to be proud of.
