Owners and GM's dont listen to these guys bro 😂 they make "mock trades" all the time and they never happen. These shows are for fans. You think Kyrie is in the Owners office asking for a max deal and they are saying " Nick and Brou dont think you deserve it"...... Wake up. Being a great player isnt the only thing teams take in to consideration. Individual stats are great but if they dont translate to championships or deep playoff runs they are empty stats. When was the last time a team Kryie was on made a conference finals? When was the last time Kyrie didnt get a max? Point proven

Agreed, Luka and Kyrie were explosive offensively and the defense actually looked fair they just couldn't get the offensive rebound and you're not going to win a lot of games when your opponents get 3 shots a possession. They need a center and a forward sized forward or 2 and they'll be good provided Kyrie's shenanigans don't derail things ...that isn't the safest bet though

Not a Mavs fan or hater . The good news is that it seems that they had a very good draft in terms of obtaining to young men of good character and who will help address the defensive weakness. The bad news is that they will end up giving Kyrie more money and a lengthier contract then any other team would consider particularly given the implications of the new CBA. Sure it is possible that Kyrie will behave and put the team first but there is a big difference betweeen "possibility" and "probability" and the track record of the past 7 years speaking to the probability that at some time within 12-18 months they will regret it.

Luka does want him there, or he wouldn't have been there to begin with. Luka wants to win in Dallas, and Kyrie is his best chance. There are more ideal fits, but it's hard to obtain players of Irving's skill level. Luka worked good with Brunson, it should be at least that good with Kyrie. They just need to plug some gaping holes on that roster.

I'm not faulting him at all, just saying what he's said in the past, so your question makes no sense unless you want to trash other players with different motivations as some exercise. Could be competing for a championship. Could be a place to live. Could be wanting to work with certain players. Could be respecting how a team is run. I respect whatever motivations players have despite the fact that you think there's only one. He has a net worth of $90 million already and I'm still not making a normative statement.

@@imdbtruth it won't be that long term if Kyrie turns into Kyrie again as I can see Luka demanding a trade if that happens.

Why not Golden State? He's gotta make more sense than CP3 right? I don't know if you can trade CP3 again.

@mobrocket fair point. I also wouldn't have guessed they wanted CP3. I'm not sure Draymond would punch Kyrie. Seems to be a respected guy in the locker room. Could be wrong obviously.

Amazing player but at this point: One year vet minimum contract - whatever that is. If he can add some playmaking and shooting - great. If not - no biggie. You just don't want to put your self in a position where you have to depend on this guy for much.

No surprise here. He is a walking controversy. Non stop nonsense with this guy. No one wants to deal with that except for Mark Cuban who is desperate.

Best possible scenario honestly is San Antonio .. he’ll be “THE GUY” with a 🐐 coach who will understand him off the court and give him the green light on the court. Spurs need a guard as well as leadership. Ky has a chip, & pop knows how to win, obviously. He can also be a mentor for a future superstar in Wendy

I always take that as a reminder that Kyrie has really done nothing wrong and these people concede it over and over again, and that the reasons guys like this don't like him have very little to do with actual basketball reasons, and more of the reason of "We didn't tell him he was allowed to say/believe that, how dare he form independent thoughts about things that aren't the scripts we handed to him!"
