It is the best Kyuss song. And the last on the last full length album they ever made. A revolutionary band that went out with a bang. They literally created a genre of music and didn't even try to. They are still considered underground, yet they have that level of influence. Probably the best band that no one ever heard of in the history of rock. Amazing!

They didn't want to sound like anyone. They rejected metal, they rejected grunge. They represent the birth of Desert Rock, sometimes called Stoner Rock. I think the band never wanted to be labelled. They wanted to create a different sound, built on cool riffs. Now there are a million bands trying to emulate their sound. Some of them are very good. But if you want to be legendary like Kyuss, find your own sound, make something totally unique.

They basically ended their career with this bombshell without telling anyone that it was actually over....! What a track to go out on, it has everything you'd expect from Kyuss old and new (and yes I do now about the split ep with QOTSA that came after). But as far as curtain calls go.....bow your head to the masters as this IS the final curtain call on a band who resurrected a whole scene and made metal exciting again from all the depressive music that was around at the time (eg Seattle scene). I do love that scene by the way but it was so refreshing to hear those lyrics....." You don't seem to understand the deal......."

To replace Bjork quitting cuz he didn’t want to be big. I had to say no I’m not a great drummer. I could of left to open for Metallica in Australia. But I didn’t get a new drum set after I had one at age 5. Haha. Saw them three times back then. Just amazing. Went on their tour bud to say hi one time. They were all eating ham and cheese sandwiches. Lol. They were broke. They spent all their money on. I’ve four bud but their album didn’t sell even though it was awesome. They chose not the best song as their big video on mtv. They chose you’ve been burned by my lighter haha. Not the best song. I loved seeing them in small clubs. Epic. Them and nirvana live were the best ever

Dual overlay solo guitar riffs. Sick. One of the best tracks of all time. Like big fat dinosaur rifts. A Nirvana (the outro is about Kurt) of their genre, except addicted to weed, not heroin.
