That view of the lake after the CN freight crossed Peshekee bridge was cool and the first scene at the bridge was a nice location. Michigan's UP is beautiful. Excellent video 👍🏻

I liked the view of the train crossing the Falls River near the beginning of the video, Nancy! This was a distinct perspective. Usually, you are on the U.S. 41 bridge when you capture the train going to and from the Koppers and CertainTeed plants. The action on 9 July 2024 showed the L'Anse Local coming down the steepest part of the L'Anse Hill and heading for the yard in L'Anse, Michigan. You waited for the engines to switch to the end of the cars to pull the cars to the Ford Switch and then the train was shoved into the Koppers and CertainTeed plants. The views of the L'Anse Local going across the bridge over the Peshekee River and at Diorite were beautiful scenes. Thank you for this video, Nancy! (Posted 14 July 2024 at 1849 CDT.)

Nice and sunny and no comments about gnats and flies so the summer season is improving. Always fun to see the bridges from various angles and they all have their own personality from the calm waters to the Rushing Water of waterfalls. The one train had more covered hoppers then average plus a rare tank car. Indeed there was the five car cut of old tie cars that I had seen in a tape the previous week passing through the Fox River Valley plus the rusty B&LE hopper that was about 10 behind. No mistaking that old Gondola with the side height extension. For those that may not be aware of it some nice footage of UP railroads has surfaced on the KillerBee channel. Both are from the late Clint Jones and are mixed in with other items throughout Wisconsin but it is neat and more is on the way just type in his name. Also a passenger extra the Explorers Trip 1990 on the very track we've been looking at

I had the pleasure of meeting Clint through my good friend Gary Brogan. Clint, Gary and his wife and my husband and I shared a chicken dinner at the Bishop Baraga Shrine that I am president of. Clint also was on the lookout for a caboose for me to house my railroad collection -alot of which came from Gary. I have the L'Anse and Baraga Depot switches and many other treasures that would be perfectly displayed in a caboose. I fear that dream is fading as the expense to even get one to my property is so high but there is always hope, ,

The Mariner was already on its way out but I did catch the ore cars being shoved onto the ore dock. I got it with my cell phone so did not put it on here.
