I loved listening to your thoughts on Seville a L'Aube. I really like the sound of this one, however orange blossom and heady white florals with my skin is extreeeeemely fickle, so I will enjoy it vicariously by remembering your review. Your face clearly shows the impression this fragrance had on you and if you were a back up bottle buyer, I would think you'd be on the hunt☺ Enjoy💜

I haven't smelled this one yet, but I'm always keen to try Duchaufour's work. Yes, that's what perfume is supposed to do - inspire and evoke emotions in us.. And we should have more reviews like this, where people say what a perfume means to them personally. 👍

Why do they keep discontinuing the beautiful perfumes? Glad I have a bottle, and an older one at that. Btw, Seville also refers to the oranges in this scent (seville = bitter orange). Thanks for the emotional review, I can see how this scent holds different treasures for everyone.

Update: I just received my Seville a L'Aube in the post today. Wow...I think I've finally found the orange blossom scent I've been looking for. Not too sweet with some green notes up front, but also with some depth. A totally successful blind buy.

Hey, Just wondering, do the L'Artisan bottles have the batch code on the bottom of the bottle?

I can confirm the older, clear glass bottles don't have a batch code on the bottle, but the dark ones like my Seville A L'Aube have it on the base.
