I'm having trouble. The website no longer matches the video at 01:53 - I download the latest version of the firmware from the Instruo website, but it's a zip file not a tar file - Unpacking this zip file reveals just a .img Please help? I can't get my Lubadh working

@@rewind-j the video is still preempting future updates. V2.0.0 is the latest version which is flashed to the uSD card. The procedure for tar files can be ignored. Please feel free to reach out to the support team if you need more help. [e-mail]

My goal here is to reflash the firmware on a corrupted Lubadh which is already running V2. If I could make another comment, I find that the video is itself hard to follow. If watching in a linear chronological fashion, you can easily start following the instructions at 01:45 without realising you need the instructions at 02:29. Not for the first time with Instruo videos, there is too much information given in a single video. I wish you could unpack your long videos into shorter bite-size pieces of information so that it's easier to follow. I have found this with all of your video content, eg the 2 hour long new feature videos! It's just too much at once. In this case, it would be so much easier and better if there were separate instructions for: Updating a Lubadh from V1 to V2, and: Reflashing the firmware on a Lubadh which already has V2. In general I do love you Instruo, and I have a lot of modules by you, so I hope you can take this comment in the constructive spirit with which it is intended. Cheers.

@@rewind-j I understand this entirely! I go big with the videos for those that like that style of content. But I understand it’s not the preferred format for everyone. This is why I employ a full time support team that are one message away for any support that might be needed. I may have a problem with the v2 + usb expansion module. It seems that the main module cant find the usb. i cannot enter load menu pressing trigger+erase for 2 sec but nothing happens. presets also not working but i double checked the usb flash drive and everything seems fine. it just seems lubadh not recognizing it. any help?

Without the USB expansion module, are Tape Looper and Clean the available presets?

They load as default unless otherwise stated on a usb drive

I don't see the Core Image file to update the micro SD card on the support page of the website, only the firmware 2.0.0 update. Am I missing something?

I don't see the expansion pack available on your site yet...Will it be sold there or through 3rd party retailers?

The first wave of stock went out to distribution with plenty of time ahead of today's launch. Both the expansion pack and the càrn stock should be in stores and available from today. I set 2PM UK time as an official "go" time to ensure I could get all the posts and pages live first :)

On the website, I just find the 2.0.0 firmware. I have a V1 version. Do I use this one to upgrade it?

The 2.0.0 image is the new version. 02:29 in the video details the procedure you should follow.

So if we update the flash drive to 2.0, are the folders with presets then on the usb stick on the back of the lubadh? Or is the usb expansion mandatory? In other words can we use all 10 presets without the expander module?

Only the SD card updates to 2.0.0 Farther updates are simply loaded via the firmware folder on the USB drive as a means of adding the new binaries. Preset curation to the A and B slot is done via the presetloader.txt file in the USB drive. The USB expander isn’t mandatory but having more accessibility to the USB port makes things more convenient. I have produced a dedicated video detailing the preset management.

when you say limited edition expander ...... does that mean a new lubadh build will be available eventually with a USB built in the front? or??

The (limited edition) expansion pack includes: USB expander, 8GB USB drive with sample library, and pre-flashed replacement uSD card. We're working on new Lubadh production stock which will ship preinstalled with V2 and will include the USB expander with it. But there are quite a few Lubadh out there in the wild currently, so this kit will be available for those who want to add the USB access. I honestly don't know what to expect in terms of demand for the USB expanders so I'm producing a certain quantity that's practical, but will adapt as needed. Eventually when that demand has saturated the standard will be new V2.0 equipped Lubadh that ship with both CV and USB expanders.
