A truly unforgettable masterpiece, and a touching film. With such a perfect cast of the Underrated Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, and so many others, it literally created a film that was perfect with such a strong emotional, action-packed storyline and what a soundtrack. Honestly, one of the very few films, that you can truly say has no flaws, and one that everyone can agree is perfect. Jean Reno truly nailed the performance, and it's amazing to see how underrated he is, and Natalie had such great talent, also nailing the role, and the film is literally indescribable, just a masterpiece. Luc Besson as a director, Literally proved that you don't need such a budget to accomplish these things, and what an era it is, and what a big name for European Films, in comparison with Americans that need such a big budget to accomplish the effects, in my opinion. Just a masterpiece, see it for yourself, with no regrets at all. A film, that I will never forget, and truly won't ever get its ultimate full credit for. Legendary. Always will hold a special place in my heart.

It’s the same as a father saying goodbye to his daughter. Here is a cool fact of this scene-it was not the police who blew up the apartment, it was Leon. At 1:41, those are just tear gas grenades that the police wanted to use to disorient Leon, not blow him up. However, the apartment blows up at 2:44 because at 0:41-0:43, you can tell how Leon axes the hissing pipe and then yanks the stove out of the wall, opening the gas line. With all the heat in that entire apartment from the bullets from when he glided across the window to get the attention of the police snipers to get his plant, he had more coverage by turning on the gas. Then you can tell at 2:43-2:44 that the canister becomes a heat-seeker, and starts following the path of the natural gas and as a result, ignites.
