Sweet shave! It appears that the 3one6 was sorely missed by me. The performance in today's session was very positive. I have smelled an oil in the variety of sandalwood Jonny has cleverly used in this new offering. It is indeed a departure from the typical sandalwood scent used in the widely available soaps of today. To be precise, I've never experienced a shaving soap with mysore as the primary note. It is intriguing enough to persuade me to giving this issue of Løthur a go. On a completely unrelated issue, I thank you for for the footage of the queen's procession through Dundee; on its way toward Edinburg. This, and the remembrance you featured at the epilogue of today's episode. It was poignant, and respectful to her memory. It demonstrates your kind nature as a human being. The matter of being, or not being a royalist was secondary. You gave her the dignity, and reckoning she deserves, as anyone who has passed deserves as well. I hope the Royal Mail strike gets settled soon. Stay safe. Cheers!

I also used the 3one6 today. I paired it with a Feather blade that came supplied in the box. Generally I don't get on with Feather blades but it worked brilliantly. One of the closest, smooth shaves I've had in recent times 👌

The 3ONE6 head is good. As the handle, however beautiful, is actually made of two pieces glued together, it tends to fall apart. Therefore, I've given the 3ONE6 head a Razorock Vintage Thin Bar stainless steel handle and packed this combination in the Gillette Heritage box, together with a pack of my favorite Rapira Platinum Lux blades. This makes a great travel shaving kit, and the razor shaves great. I actually have two pieces of the 3ONE6 razor, so I've given my second 3ONE6 head the Homelike Shaving Colibri stainless steel handle. Again, a fantastic combination.

Nicely done Kevy💈💈 Gave that razor to my son, wish I had it back now. Barrister & Mann came out with a true Sandalwood soap/splash a few months back, awesome scent and performance! Never used those blades, even after all these years they still elude me. Great shave and results, thanks. Enjoy!

Great shave Kevy. Gillette bought the parent company of Wilkinson Sword in 1989.

They helped another company buy Wilkinson Sword (acquiring a 22% interest in that company in the process), so never directly owned them. And were forced to divest their interest in that company in 1992. But I suspect that somewhere during that period, Gillette negotiated the right to the trade mark in India as a way of gaining market share in that market (India, being a Commonwealth country, likely had a greater affinity to the WS brand than to Gillette at the time). In Europe (and likely in much of the rest of the world) the TM is now held by competitor Edgewell Personal Grooming (who also make Schick and a number of other brands).

Great shave. Bali is an island in Indonesia that has been a renowned resort destination for many years now. You gotta teach yourself geography to get more familiar with the world. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since I was little, and I love learning it. The Queen once came to my city of Chicago in 1959, and her son Charles III would visit there twice in 1977 and 1986. Princess Diana would also come there herself in 1996. If any royal decides to come to my city, they are welcome to be there anytime. Have a good one!

Lønny does exist but only as a ship's name and a surname. The ø, correctly and acutely identified by you, Kevy, by its html code oslash, is pronounce the the i sin sir, or the o in wørd-...sorry, word (in non rhotic English RP). The y would in that position be pronounced as a short, unstressed ee. Lønn-ee, the stress on the ø. One meaning of lønn is maple (also, wages, payment for work, salary).
