इंटरमिटेंट फास्टिंग को टाइम-रिस्ट्रिक्टेड फास्टिंग भी कहा जाता है। एक तरफ डॉक्टर कह रहे हैं कि टाइम-रिस्ट्रिक्टेड फास्टिंग अच्छी है, लेकिन दूसरी तरफ वे कह रहे हैं कि इंटरमिटेंट फास्टिंग अच्छी नहीं है। इसलिए मैं उलझन में हूँ कि टाइटल में क्यों लिखा है कि इंटरमिटेंट फास्टिंग अच्छी नहीं है। मुझे लगता है कि डॉक्टर असल में लंबे समय तक फास्टिंग (प्रोलॉन्ग्ड फास्टिंग) को अच्छा नहीं कह रहे थे।

Intermittent fasting is a more efficient way of doing time restricted eating . 16 hour fasting with 8 hour feeding window does really good for your metabolic health ,fitness and promotes autophagy .it's much more realistic and can be done long-term .

Such a bad response - please define terms instead of uploading clips for clickbait. Intermittent fasting is an umbrella term which includes 14:10, 16:8 or omad (one meal a day) 72 hour fast is not an "Intermittent" fast - its just a fast. In his answer, the doctor recommends a 14:10 IF as a lifestyle and also recommends omad once a week - in essence he recommends Intermittent fasting. Clickbait videos like these deter people from pursuing dietary changes. "Low fat is bad for you, High fat is bad for you, even IF is bad for you...f*** this let me just eat my pizza at 1am at night"

72 hrs of water fast doesn't mean you keep taking the water only, you need to take electrolytes to make sure the organs are working properly, only water will dilute the existing electrolytes in your body, people here questioning with incomplete knowledge

Intermittent fasting is the way humans lived. I have seen many old grandparents especially ladies who used to fast regularly and all lived past 90 years with no major health issues. If you eat more you die early or at least fall sick early. Simple

Nope.. It's been years and my grandpa said exactly what this doctor said. Timely eating. Breakfast at 7am. Lunch around 1pm and dinner around 8pm.. That's it.. To sustain muscles you need to eat. Less eating does not promote muscle growth which will lead to lower productivity for young people like us and growing children..
