Msp 2 is constantly getting updates and a lot of players decided to move to that game. Developers aren't updating msp 1, the msp magazine no longer exists and there's only one page of new clothes each theme. They just gave up on the game while it had a small revival during pandemic. If they had played their cards right it could have been a popular game to this day.

Germany Server here! I made a new account out of boredom this year in April and kind of just wanted a fresh start and honestly it ain’t that bad there. If you find the right people then your friend list can be pretty active. Still lot of people buy vip because almost all people I met there are 18+ and they like making new aesthetic creative looks (literally looking like dti outfits lmao) or make really cool artbooks/movies and they like going on there for nostalgia. But even then because majority of players are adults, it’s mostly only active during the weekend. It’s kind of a hit or miss. 😂

lol i started playing msp in early 2013 and over the course of a few months leveled up like crazy. then i got obsessed with collecting those old low quality kinda clothing items that you couldn't buy in the shop anymore and would trade 20 wishlist items for one of those old clothing items every 2 days and collected over a hundred of those things, it felt like an entire business to teenage me. then one day msp was like 'hey so everyone's been whining about wanting those old clothes back in the shop so we're bringing them back. lmao' and that was the end of msp for me lol

The problem isn’t that it’s just dead though. At least telling from what I experienced on the German server, it’s just unplayable as itself. Things just don’t load at all for example. And realistically, no one wants to play an unplayable game.

Turkish server seems to be more active due to "cheap" vip prices. It's not actually cheap for Turkish players btw it's just that our currency keeps losing value so it gets cheaper and cheaper for foreign players.

I logged in before Halloween, and I was shocked to see the "Pumpkin Boo!" bg because the bats on it were MELTED into the floorboards. If you look at "Ballet Baby" the bars are all different and one of them disappears into the wall. Anything older than few months seems fine, but recent ones have some that seem to be AI generated.
