I have owned 6 differant N14's celects and celect plus's and I have ran into it on 2 of my trucks threw the years where I was getting air in the fuel causing the trucks to run errattic or hard starting and I found that the bung fittings that are pressed into the ECM cooling plates where leaking when I pressure tested them. And rather than spend $600 on a new ECM cooler you can Tig weld the bung fitting to the cooler to fix the problem. Just thought I would throw that in there to help people troubleshoot these problems.

Could you tell by looking at it if they were leaking? Like we’re they wet at all or do you have to pressure test to diagnose? Cheers.

have a 2003 n14 Cummins have a serious problem once I sell a rate to fuel up to the steady 35 Mi on it truck will start backfiring blowing white smoke if I accelerate past the point it picks up speed fine have it at a dealership they've changed the wiring harness from the ECM through the motor injector harness we still have the same issue they changed the fuel throttle sensor three times and we still have the same issue do you have any ideas for me that may be able to help me thank you

I’ve got a mechanical L10 Cummins in a 1985 international. I changed the little filter/strainer and gasket under the slotted cone on top of it. I removed the solenoid to get it off. Put it back together and it won’t start. Put on a new fuel filter and made sure it was full. Do I need to prime the system? Did the fuel pump randomly go out?

There’s fuel at the head and on top of the solenoid but it’s just oozing out. Assuming it needs to be shooting out.

should 1995 n14 celect have a check valve , I took mine apart and there isn't any, the pump seems to be a little different from celect+.

Hey Tavo, most of the sensors are the same except the Turbo boost sensor. I really need to know the ESN# and what problem are you having etc? 810.653.6300
