Answer this ONE hard question. If you lose your job and NO ONE is hiring people. What kind of skills do you actually possess to survive?

Thanks for this video. I try to explain to people around me about this very issues, but couldn’t explain it as well as you just did.

Tough topic here, but we need to address this now, sooner than later. I've been hearing it as well and know the time frame when they expect this to happen. Thanks for the wake-up call reminder👍🏻

You are so spot on with this. I did music research for different radio stations around the country, was a producer and Board Operator as well and now I am and have been out of work it seems forever. Automation eliminated me. Without a radio station to work in, I am obsolete. Anyone hiring?? I was almost lucky enough to work for you back when you were at WLTI 93.1 Lite FM.

Sorry about your situation. Unfortunately it's pretty common in all careers and most people (me included) never noticed it. Thanks for watching.

Again, Great video and message. I also like to get folks thinking about how those skills are transferable to another area. I hate to say it, what we've been hearing is a reality. Great reset comes to mind.

I've not made a living from it before, but I can fix your computer. I run an internet radio station that I own so technically I'm working for myself. I'm generally terrible with my hands, though... I don't make anything, can't work on cars, can't make furniture, can't seem to repair much of anything around the house. When my wife can't figure out how to get sound on the TV she calls me in, but that seems even less marketable in a crash than selling ads on an internet radio station. ...Maybe I could grow fruits and vegetables in the back yard and sell them?

I'm in roughly the same boat as you Gene. Eye opener huh?
