R53 MINI Cooper S. Had about 15minutes out on track before being pulled in for exceeding the drive by noise limit.

Nice driving but is there any reason why you don't keep the foot down on some of the corners can here the engine not rev as you go around the bend? My r53 that's the best part keeping the power down in the bend.

Looks like a really nice set up r53 👍🏼 What exhaust system are you running ? I’ve done a few sessions at Brands with my r53 with Miltek cat back and had no issues, although I do run with a ‘tom cat’

Do you have a resonated version? My exhaust is knackered need a new one worried it will be too loud for track days, it's got a scorpion manifold and sports cat at the moment

Oh okay. I was looking to make my R53 fast. Looking for 185 to 190 bhp. Just for road use.

theyre running 165 stock, a jcw will have 180 to 190. I bought mine for 300 pounds and it had a cracked cyclinder head so im replacing it and reseating all my valves and seals before i start the pulley and remap.

Luke I tell you something as I know from experience with a loud ish ep3 type r there is a sound mic as you go up paddock hill just around the walkover Brigde so you actually can go over sound limit when you heel toe down shift into that braking zone...I know because I got caught out there but if I didn’t heel toe I just got away with it
