I saw them 3 times on this tour- Houston,Mountain View, and Vancouver. I had an airline job at the time and flew to San Francisco from Texas the morning of the show and picked up my ticket at will call. Mountain View is my home town. The amphitheater is practically in my back yard. These concerts were just a 2 mile walk or bicycle ride away. I saw MANY music stars there as well as the Lynyrd Skynyrd reunion tour in 1987. So cool to see this again. They built that amphitheater on top of the former city dump. When it opened they had an issue with decomposing trash producing methane that leaked through cracks in the soil under the lawn area behind the seats. People sitting or lying up there were lighting little eternal flames on the grass that would keep burning. The city finally had to install a system that would draw off the gasses and burn them in an incinerator. Google SHORELINE AMPHITHEATER to see what the venue looks like in the daytime if you wish. Have a good one L33.
