To the point that neighbors were worried and came by to see what all the THUMPS were about.

"Why is there a head sized hole in the wall" "where did grandpas 2x4s/wood sheets/etc go" "how did it take you 2 hours to get to school?" (We live literally directly behind the school" "*how many of you are bleeding!?!*" "... .... .... .... why is the dogs butt shaved... ... ... where is the hair in the back of your head!!!" We're just some of the *innocent, less serious* questions asked ... ... often. Hunting/fishing you need ice for meat/fish. Also some people may not have an ice maker in their fridge. We have filtered water/ice stations where you can go get ice with coins or credit. I have one near me where I get 12 step filtered water, they are called watermills. Very handy to have.

With all of the fail videos we've been watching over the months while visiting with my older brother I've got a feeling that ladders, trampolines, kayak's and hammocks are just out to get you. You don't even need to be on or using a ladder and the darn thing's going to fall on you for being near it.

I used to work a lot out in the Cotswolds. They have those perfectly straight canals that are always being dredged for a dead guy in British mystery shows and movies. Growing up in Yellowstone/Teton country I was shocked that not a single British kid was out in a truck tire intertube floating on them. You British are serious rule followers, there is so much cool stuff to do in the English countryside and people just walk on the approved trails with those boot thingies and walking sticks. My hotel was right below that Gloucestershire "Cheese Rolling" mountain, were that in the US there would be 100 kids a day getting in trouble for rolling old tires down that thing.

The funniest times as a kid was when your friend got a compound frature or busted his teeth out 😂

They toss the egg up into their hat. That dudes hat had fallen off, so the raw egg landed on his head and burst. It's kinda like a show at the Hibachi Grill.
