Actually the lead singer came from the band Mantra who were from Florida. These guys were from Louisiana. Both bands were clones of Cameo.

Yes these guys are very nice guys. The bass player and the Guitar player are brothers. they were really cool when we meet them when they were on tour back in the day. The Drumer Ceaser talked with me and my friend Eric Brown all night after one of there concerts. We will never forget the love he and the Bass player showed us.

I'm proud to say I know of, slightly the Richardson Brothers you speak of Terry Gregg. I'm form DonaldsonVille, La as they are too... I knew the lead guitarist better than his brother, the bass player. Cool brothers though!

the drummer may have been from baton rouge, but the majority of the band was from white castle and donaldsonville la., the group started off as florescent smog and the name was changed to la. connection when they hooked up with larry blackmon

I saw these guys open for Cameo back in the early 80s and have looked everywhere for this tune. Very cool. Larry Blackmon made my high school life chime. Cameo was in Charlotte a few weeks ago and I couldnt make it and I am still sick about it.

Same thang with the Jimmy G & the Tackheads album in 1985. 1982 I was leaving the 419. Got stationed @ Camp Pendleton, CA. USMC. Looking for music to take with. I never got this album but I remember the cover due to the fact it had that parliament cartoon look ...and so long and behold the artist is Overton Loyd, the cartoonist for the funk... no wondah....ok bye
