Hello again. I just wanted to say I have just started production on slowing the Disco Elysium Ost. The videos will be made available in the coming weeks, and I hope that you all enjoy them as much as this one.

I still think of Disco Elysium with an overwhelming sense of sadness. I will never experience anything like it again. One of the most impactful pieces of medias I've ever had the privilege of interacting with. "Un jour je serai de retour près de toi."

Sometimes I wish I hadn't played it, because other games feel dull to me now and I'm struggling to even finish them. I hope I'll find something that tops Disco one day, but I'm not counting on it tbh. They managed to create magic.

" It's the first time in a video game that I actually felt the full hit of whatever emotion it was conveying" God... I can relate to that so hard... Every time I listen to the Disco Elysium soundtrack I feel like I can smell the salty Revacholian air.
@Marewig2 жыл бұрын
Oh, I agree. It's the most impactful song in the game for me too. It feels like a heartfelt song from the world's very soul. It reminded me that even among the ruins of Revachol, and the downtrodden people, there is still beauty to be found even in daily life, that sometimes miracles do appear behind a blade of grass. I still love it. I listen to it when I needed a moment's peace, to clear my head from what seems like the day's unceasing clutter and endless tasks.

@@AGMSP and at the same time, its so peaceful. its melancholic and ive cried to this ost before too, but at the same time i cant help but feel a bloom of hope, acceptance and beauty that comes from letting yourself feel yor emotions. its like the calm after a storm, a nice sleep after crying.

I think that we all know by now that we wont get to see anything like Disco Elysium again. With how things are looking for ZA/UM, its likely that any follow up would simply be a derivative corporatist piece of capital-apologist liberal drek, without the inspiration of its founders vision to guide it I cant see anything less happening. But for me at least, the game was more than just an experience, it was an awakening. This game changed me in a way that i never thought anything could, and i feel that i am the better for it. I know that im not alone in that, and that change will always mean something. Even as my memories start to fade with the progression of age and dementia, the ways that this game has changed me will always remain, even if the memories do not. I feel like that is the reason for art to exist, to inspire change in people who are feeling disenchanted. For all of us, our experiences with this game were different but i think that it seems to have made a change in all of us, whether small or large. i just hope that everyone who has felt touched by this story has found some sort of contentment, because at the end of the day all we can ask for is to be content, and occasionally, for something beautiful to happen.

In all fairness, Disco Elysium was not three people; it was a team, and I have faith in that team to deliver something of quality in their own way. Franchises have a tendency to improve or degrade with the absence of their original creators, so we just have to be optimistic.

I'm glad this song has been able to reach over 5k people around the world. I hope it reaches more. In the meantime, I post more S+R remixes on my channel, and would appreciate your viewership immensely! I also occasionally post gameplay of whatever I'm doing, and sometimes (admittedly most of the time) I put memes in them to make people cringe/kek at them. I also release compilations of the tracks without the memes for those who just want to listen. Liking and Subscribing is also appreciated, and I try my best to give feedback to most comments (except the really fucked up ones; You know what I mean). But, if you don't want to do any of those things, that's ok, too. I don't do this for clout. Thank you all again!

I'm afraid I only post on KZbin. Though if you want an audio file of it, I'd suggest using Foxified to turn the video into an mp3. I don't mind; Just don't use the song for any KZbin videos without crediting the channel.

Every song in the OST hit me in a different way from euphoric, a rush of adrenaline or a rising gloom. I loved the sweet mix of sounds you added to this track making more chilled than it already is. Would you know the song Rain from the game? That one made me legit shed a few tears. I'd love if you can edit that one as well.
