La Roche-Posay Toleriane Tinted Cream Moisturizer Review

I have been using this product for over a year now (in Europe it is not a new product), because it is exactly the same cream that I use but with colour. It only peels off if you use it as make-up (like trying to blending it, or putting too much) or if you wear something underneath. Instead, you have to treat it as a cream (put it fast and light so that your skin absorbs it) and then put a ligthweight suncreen when it has completely dried down (i use lrp anthelios shaka fluid). I use it that way and looove the product, it doesn't break me out and does an amazing job at covering redness

This sounds too good to be true, exactly what I need since I have hard time finding make up that doesn't make my skin worse. I should try it.

Generaly you should wait about 20-30 minutes after applying sunscreen to put on makeup since it needs that much time to settle and form a protective film. By putting something right after, you are smearing the sunscreen and rubbing it off.

This is an awsome product . I have the most reactive acne prone skin and it does not make me breakout. I pat it in like you and set it with Marcelle face powder, never got the peeling off effect .

The sunscreen reacted with cream and cause this flecks It happens always with me when i moisturizer then apply sunscreen I only apply sunscreen without moisturizer

I have very sensitive skin, and I switch my foundations a lot trying to find the best one and I have been wearing this for a few weeks and it has a lot of downfalls I apply it in the morning and now with wearing a mask it literally wipes off my face, and my 4 hrs in all around my mouth chin cheeks its gone, and applying it with concealer is awful the concealer cakes with it , the only area it stays on is my forehead its $27 bucks in Canada and I don't feel like the price meets the product

You have to rub it into your bare skin like a moisturiser and it looks amazing. Absolutely in love with this product and the ingredients are really amazing and don't irritate my sensitive skin ❤️ maybe try the spf after the product has sunken into the skin..

When a product peels, it happens because it doesn't go well with something else you put before or your skin is not compatible. Try switching your serum or spf

I am using this few months now and never put anything underneath this product... all I do is use a little setting powder over it to matt the surface and it looks wonderful...

Hey I bought this tinted moisturizer and just letting u know don’t use cerave moisturizing cream underneath the products don’t mesh well and it will pill realllllly bad. Loved the review!!

I use it some days over all my LRP skincare routine including sunscreen. You just have to spread it immediately, so first swipe and then dab, because it dries rather quickly. That way it spreads very easily and very evenly and when I wash my face before bed, the skin still looks like skin and as if nothing was on it.

I just bought this tonight - but haven't tried it yet. When I do, I'll let you know what my results are. One thing I would say/recommend is that it might be a good idea to try it WITHOUT applying a sunscreen or primer at all and also use a sponge like you did at one point in your video. (I'm 55 years' old - can pass for 40 - and very, very rarely use sunscreen because I'm inside most of the time). When I do wear suncreen, the only one I've ever found that's good is made by Paula's Choice and it's zinc-based. I've found that sunscreens that are chemical-based don't absorb that well, and usually make my ultra-sensitive skin break out. Thank you for posting this - I'll definitely let you know how it goes for me.

Yes please let me know how it goes! Since filming this video I've tried it with a chemical sunscreen, mineral sunscreen, and even without a moisturizer just to see if it would work well on bare skin. Unfortunately nothing has worked D: I'm so close to just taking it back to Shoppers for a refund.

@@8thDayBeauty Well, I FINALLY tried it - several times - and I hate it. It doesn't blend well at all - no matter whether I apply it with a sponge, brush, or my fingertips. Total waste of money. Definitely do not recommend it. On another note though, La Roche-Posay makes an AMAZING zit cream (yes, I get them - even at 55!!!). It's called Effaclar Duo+ and I love it. Also love their shower gels and several of their moisturizers.

have a look at the ingredients of the LRP. Maybe it has too much silicone in it and it's rated as one of the first few ingridients. If it has too much silicone and is applied on dry skin, it'll pill off. A moisturizer underneath .. would be a better solution in this case.

It wasn't hydrating enough as a moisturizer for me because I have dehydrated skin, which is why I had to use a separate moisturizer underneath. It didn't work for me, but I'm sure it works for others.

i have the duo(+) unifiant cream its colored too and i couldnt find any reviews on it in english so im writing here can i use it night and day like a normal cream or is it more like a bb cream? can someone who knows pls answer would it make my skin breakout

It's just like a bb cream - use it as makeup, not as night cream.

It doesn't. At least the one here in Europe. I use the combination of light and medium. It's an excellent moisturizer as well

The ingredient list hugely varies from the ones we have in Europe. Here it's one of the best tinted moisturizer in terms of: hydrating, moisturizing and protecting the skin

Same. Pilling with this product. I didn't use sunscreen. Just a setting spray. I love the feel and no smell... so maybe I'm just touching it too much?
