My now husband and I did long distance for a 5 month stint, then 1 year, then another 6ish months. It’s super hard, but I do feel like our relationship is so so solid now because our communication had to be good!! It also does get slightly easier, the first month or so is always really difficult adjusting, but you get into a new routine. We used to call each other any pocket of time we had, even if it was just for a quick check in ❤ you guys will come out the other side stronger than ever & it makes you appreciate them so so much more xx
