Hey Amie, I just wanted to say I really appreciate that you recommend luxury that isn't SOLELY Chanel/Dior/etc-tier prices! I'm in a position where I'm comfortable spending a few hundred of pounds to get quality items, but I cannot justify anything over £1000, and it's great to be introduced to new items that'll last me years that I can afford. Make sure to check out south coast plaza (Costa Mesa) and Fashion Island mall (Newport Beach) if you’re down in OC! Both malls are great for shopping high end :) Highly recommend Knife Pleat and Paradise Dynasty at South Coast. Amazing food!

I’m actually going to Disneyland on Thursday with my family and it would have been amazing to see you there! I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. P.S. If you want to go to a fun and calm beach, go to Corona Del Mar. It’s such a wonderful spot. But if you want to go to a beach where there’s lots of people and lots of shops, go to Santa Monica. These are my regular haunts but it was still fun to watch through the eyes of someone else! I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at Catal in downtown Disney (in the round room with the windows) and stayed at the same hotel our wedding night so we could walk right into Disney the next day haha. Agreed! Come visit San Diego! Shopping options cannot compare to LA/OC, but the outdoor malls are so fabulous on its own. UTC mall is opening up their LV store this Thursday the 14th for VIC event, granted I will still shop with my beloved LV CA at Fashion Valley for actual purchases. ❤️

Hi Amie, how do you bring your designer bags on these long haul flights, do you check them in in your luggage or I was thinking for me to use the Longchamp large travel bag, store my LVs, Chanels and YSL in it and carry them with me. I fly economy obviously 😁

Definitely carry them in hand luggage. I never check my bags in. I generally prefer to use a hard case now for hand luggage and store my bags in there. I'm going to do a video covering this though next week! :)

Loved this LA vid! I am actually traveling there next month for a few days. We are also going to Disney and Universal. Would you recommend the Kimpton you first stayed at? How bad was the traffic?

Traffic not too bad at all! I liked the Kimpton! The drainage system was kind of loud so any time anyone flushed a toilet around your room in the middle of the night, you'd hear it but that was my only complaint and it was fairly minor (albeit maybe more noticeable if suffering from jet lag like we were!). The rooms weren't crazy luxurious but they were perfectly nice, a good size and the downstairs area had a great vibe. Considering the location, I thought it was good value :)
