Hats off to Ben O’C for taking the race to the peloton. He battled hard and made the Roglic earn the deserved victory. It could have been a GC bore otherwise.

only four times in the history of the 3 Grand Tours have the winners in one year come from one and the same country...Slovenia joins France, Spain and Great Britain. Rog and Pog - awesome!

The route of this Vuelta was kinda lame at points plus the teams didn't look that motivated at times to the point I swear we only saw ONE DAY where descending mattered for the GC guys (Granada finish)

Thus ended the 2024 La Vuelta. As a Primož Roglič fan, the whole three weeks has been a roller coaster. Will he crash? Will he gain back the time he lost to O'Connor? Will he light it up on the mountains or will he crack? Truly one of the most exciting race I've ever seen. Happy to see him win. Hvala, Primož.

What happen to the great American GC rider and captain Sepp Kuss ? More than 20 min. behind ! ;-) Total loser and proving that last years victory was a massive gift from Primoz and Jonas. So Primoz said f..that's match fixing, I'm out of here ! He got on a team where he would be the real captain, not a Wakanda captain like S Kuss, he came back a year later and won the Vuelta ! Massive respect to Primoz for the 5th. GT win ! I bet Jonas is regretting gifting last years Vuelta away to Kuss. You only get so many chances of being in the shape of your life and winning one of the 3 GT's !

Yawn, Benedict Roglic may have tied Heras for Vuelta wins but you don’t see fans talking about Heras very often as one of the greatest cyclists. Still hasn’t won a Tour and likely never will 😂
@garikaichuru1603 ай бұрын
Well, fans may not talk much about Heras but the statistics dnt lie and a grand tour is a grand tour, winning one puts u among the greats. Last but not least, Roglic hasn't won the TDF largely due to misfortunes rather than a lack of trying, and there is no shame in that. Winning 5 grand tours notwithstanding that he started cycling at a much advanced age, having been a skier before, shows how great he is.
@margaritastoyanova92533 ай бұрын
You hate him because he wanted to win la Vuelta 2023 and didn't want to gift it to his domestic?!?! That's how the BIG champions act - they are there to win, not to make gifts. It's understandable why you don't agree with - because you have the same loser mindset as all the scared mice who dare no fight for anything in their miserable life...
@margaritastoyanova92533 ай бұрын
Should yours "He'll never win the TDF" sounds like an insult? Even if he doesn't win it, he is a Legend already and has a career 95% of the riders can only dream of.
