The day finally came! We had our sweet baby boy on November 22nd, 2019. If you're new to my channel, we conceived our son while I had the paragard IUD in place. He is our second baby and our labor and delivery with him was slightly different than with our daughter. I hope you enjoy watching our birth vlog.

I was still getting a period, my Dr recommended we remove the IUD for a safe pregnancy. Unfortunately, the day after the IUD was removed I had a miscarriage. My DR said the IUD slightly moved and that’s why the pregnancy was able to form and continue because the para guard IUD is only effective if it stays in place. Other IUDs can move and still be effective because they have some type of hormone even if only a small amount. Hope this helps !

I get that birth and pregnancy stuff can be "gross" to some people's sensibilities, but he's equally responsible for this pregnancy and baby as you are, and he doesn't have to go through all the pain and gross things himself, so it seems like the LEAST he can do is be supportive and find a way to choke down his disgust at the natural processes of the human body 🙄 like I get it, but get over it man

Congrats . Hope your delivery was easy and safe . December babies are the best my first daughter will be 11 dec 18. Labor was fast and easy .i had no epidural with her . Had 7 hr labor only had episiotomy . My baby emmalina eloise was different i worked my whole shift water broke at work . Had no epidural with her and tore ended up getting preclampsia at delivery but she was fine i had her Jan 23 2019. Good luck with labor

I'm currently pregnant (5weeks today) and i have the paragaurd IUD. I've been super stressed and worried about baby and if my little bean is okay or not :/ but watching your videos today have made me feel a lot better about this whole process, I get my first ultrasound soon to check on the baby and im hoping everything is going good! Lucky you babes mine is still there as they can't removed it due to unseen strings. Am 10weeks 2days today. Was told I will have to deliver the baby with it and it will be elective surgery has i have had 2 emcs b4. Congratulations dear. Happy for you and looking forward to mine in d next 30weeks

if you ever decide to get an IUD again, I highly recommend going with the Mirena instead of the copper. You're 4 times more likely to get pregnant with a copper IUD than with a hormonal just because if it shifts even slightly out of position, it will be less effective. I myself have the hormonal IUD for almost a year and the hormones have not negatively affected me whatsoever.

well no birth control is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy, but statistically, more women get pregnant with a copper IUD than with a hormonal IUD.

The shot put me in the hospital, the pill makes me throw up so it isnt effective, the nuvaran gave me cramps and made me throw up from the hormones. The paragard is the only thing that worked but it dislodged so i got pregnant

Been watching birth vlogs and wow the difference between a woman who gets the epidural and the one who goes natural is so so so different!!!!!!ll Had my son all natural , currently 37 weeks and debating if I should get it this time around cause you girls that get the epidural look like you are in paradise lol 😂

Gladis Glomez, I think so too. Giving birth with an epidural basically makes delivery pain free. Where as giving birth without an epidural is pure torture!!!!!

@@gladisgamez9386 well in my case with my 1st delivery, i wasnt dilating past 3 cms for about 10 hours in labor so the doctor recommended it or I would have ended up with a c section. Plus side effects are very rare.

Val Musa oh no c-section I had one with my second child a girl and it was so awful. The recovery is much slower I actually had a v-bac with my 3rd , and I totally understand if it’s medically necessary(epidural), if I had to get it I would as well. :) have you experienced natural birth ? I definitely think this is my last.

Usually if you go past 5cm without it breaking it can stall your labor so they'll break it for you.
