Did you know , the foreign aid is a very small % of gdp . It is now spent mostly inside uk on refugees, so that money stays in the economy. Whatever money goes to other countries, is spent on protecting UK interests in those countries, and very little amount is used for the poor there . If some amount is spent , it is used to create enough leverage on those governments to work in the interest of UK .
