Not comparable because Tax to GDP of India is too low as compared to Sweden plus population is too high. If you calculate all stuff, there will be $320 a year for per person in india from total tax money whereas, that would be $20,720 a year in case of Sweden. Taxes in India are not too high right now. Taxes are high for the middle class only. India probably need a lot improvements in tax collection to reach even close to Nordic models. Like wealth and inheritance tax may work but ya someone has spread a roomer that wealth tax is like "2 me se eak bhais le lenge"

so its like this- slow growing real estate will get taxxed higher (since there is no indexation benefit) fast growing real-estate will get taxxed lower (since the tax % is reduced) all the people posting comparisons online are assuming 7% YoY gain which is almost equal to inflation. if your propery is generating returns faster than inflation then you can assume in long term you will get taxxed lower than before
