He didnt and doesnt. He was hit by his best friend ,and it blew out his pupil. One eye has a larger than normal pupil than the other.

Hey Alyson, Just watched the scene when David Bowie is singing as Jareth. This is one of my new favorite movies. You nailed the look. You look amazing as Jareth the Goblin King and as David Bowie. Your a natural at doing looks from the most loved character like Jack Sparrow and Edward Scissorhands to Heroic figures like Wonder Woman and Mystique, i can on and on if there's a character in movies and pop culture I know you'll nail the look, props and costume.
