The cut you make from the nose to the eye, the curving slice is one I'll be trying. You are an amazing artist and it really shows that you enjoy what you do which is very important.

What I find most interesting is seeing you use a straight knife blade to make cuts I normally make with gouges and v tools. Extremely useful. Thank you!

I never push sideways or use my knife to pry chips out. Make a second cut and sever the chip completely and it will fall out. Your knife will stay sharp longer. It's a hard habit to break but it's worth it.

awesome carving - thank you....fun fact: most mountain men/fur traders tried to be clean shaven in order to get a native wife - Native people hated facial hair, Native people plucked every hair off their chins and lips - you will hardly see a Native man with facial hair in old photographs...yes, I know. The movies.
