Same exact thing with me. I loved their band the first moment I heard them at my school's talent show. As soon as I got out of school I listened to that song over and over again. Their my favorite band!!No matter what happens (even Lacey leaving) I'll still put my faith that this band will make it through. :)

I'm pretty sure the sound-hole is that black area above the strings, it just has a cover on it. Sound-holes don't necessarily have to be right under the strings.

It is acoustic... When she sings acoustic, it is always different each time because she loses herself in His presence and is singing literally to Him. I personally think this version is sweet because of her tone... so soft and sweet and flows.

yeah well, she didn't have all the layered vocals, harmonies and pitch correction she had in the studio version, so obviously it's not going to sound as good. but she still has an amazing voice and is honest enough not to lipsync live performances.

she had a small crowd and without the harmonics of the electic guitars plus a little nervousness I think she did well. I think the gtarist picked the worst sound setup and acoustic for that one. she is brilliant. the music is good, not difficult. I figured the whole album out all in dropped D took me about 30 minutes. lol. she's brilliant though really.

In every other acoustic version she has either full on belted those high notes or gone into her head voice. You're right, she completely avoided them :/
